Dhikala Zone

The Dhikala Zone is the largest and most famous safari zone in Jim Corbett National Park, known for its vast grasslands, dense Sal forests, and high chances of tiger sightings. Located deep inside the park, Dhikala offers an immersive wildlife experience, making it a favorite among nature enthusiasts. Unlike other zones, day visitors cannot enter Dhikala by jeep safari—only those with forest lodge bookings can explore the area through jeep safaris. However, visitors can opt for the Canter Safari, which operates in morning and evening shifts, providing a thrilling opportunity to witness the park’s diverse wildlife, including tigers, elephants, deer, and numerous bird species. The Ramganga River flows through the zone, enhancing its scenic beauty and supporting a rich ecosystem. Staying at the Dhikala Forest Lodge allows guests to experience the wilderness up close, with breathtaking views and the sounds of nature surrounding them.
