Terms and Conditions

All correspondence(s) in respect of Tours / Travel Service bookings should be addressed to M/s. Alkof Holidays (Last Updated: November 5, 2025).

Payments:

For all contracted services, an advance payment is required to secure the booking on a confirmed basis. The remaining balance must be paid at least 60 days prior to the commencement of your travel. Management reserves the right to determine the advance payment amount based on the nature of the service and the time remaining before the service begins.

Apart from the above, in some cases such as special train journeys, hotel or resort bookings during peak seasons (e.g., Christmas, New Year), full payment is required in advance.

Mode of Payment:

Overseas advance payments can be made via wire transfer or credit/debit card to our corporate bank account.

Cancellation Policy:

• 3.1. Cancellation notifications must be submitted in writing to Alkof Holidays. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date the written advice is received.
• 3.2. Cancellation charges are as follows:
1. 30 (+) days prior to arrival: 10% of the tour/service cost.
2. Between 16 to 29 days prior to arrival: 50% of the tour/service cost.
3. Up to 15 days prior to arrival or No Show: No Refund.
4. During the Christmas and New Year period (20 December to 5 January), the payment is non-refundable.
5. Refunds for trips canceled after commencement will be limited, depending on the recoverable amount from hoteliers/contractors.

Liabilities & Limitations:

• After the finalization of the Tour/Service Cost, any increase in entrance fees, taxes, fuel costs, or guide charges by the Government of India will be charged separately.
• Alkof Holidays acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, transporters, railways, and contractors. Exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets issued are subject to the terms and conditions provided by these service providers.
• Itineraries are sample schedules, subject to changes based on factors such as weather, road conditions, and participants' physical abilities. Alkof Holidays reserves the right to alter schedules for the safety and well-being of participants.
• Rates are based on negotiated agreements with hotels and airlines. Rates may be modified without notice by hotels and airlines, and any changes will be adjusted accordingly.
• Alkof Holidays is not responsible for delays, alterations, or expenses incurred due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accidents, breakdowns, weather, sickness, political closures, or any unforeseen incidents.
• We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from acts of GOD, dangers, accidents, breakdowns, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, thefts, epidemics, or any other causes beyond our control.
• Alkof Holidays does not provide insurance covering accidents, sickness, or loss. Visitors are advised to arrange suitable insurance in their home country. All baggage and personal property are at the client's risk.
• Alkof Holidays is not responsible for costs arising from unforeseen circumstances such as landslides, roadblocks, bad weather, etc.

By booking with Alkof Holidays, clients acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Alkof Holidays reserves the right to modify these terms without prior notice.
