Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple

Sree Anantha Padmanabhaswamy Temple is a revered Hindu temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. It is dedicated to Lord Ananta, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. And it is one of the richest temples in the world. Padmanabhaswamy temple architecture is a blend of Kerala style and Dravidian style, and the temple has a 100-foot tall gopuram (ornate entrance). Inside, in the main temple, an 18-foot statue of the main deity in Ananthasayanam posture stands on Adi Shesha. Padmanabhaswamy Temple is one of the 108 holy temples of Lord Vishnu, the date of foundation of the temple is unknown. But according to popular beliefs, it was established about 5000 years ago.
