On arrival at Cochin International Airport, an Alkof Holidays representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Kochi. Rest and relax at the hotel, and later head-out to explore Kochi. Your sightseeing tour includes Fort Kochi, known for its colonial architecture and historic charm; Marine Drive, with its picturesque waterfront; and St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. Visit the Dutch Palace, renowned for its murals and historical artifacts, as well as the Santa Cruz Basilica, a stunning example of Gothic architecture. Discover the serene Bolgatty Island and delve into history at the Indo-Portuguese Museum. Dinner, and overnight stay at the hotel in Kochi.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Alappuzha (Alleppey), famous for its houseboat cruises through the serene Kerala backwaters. Around 12:00 PM, check in to your traditional houseboat and begin your overnight cruise. Enjoy lunch onboard as you glide through peaceful canals and lagoons, passing lush paddy fields, coconut groves, village homes, temples, and scenes of daily backwater life. In the evening, relax on the houseboat and enjoy the calm surroundings as it anchors for the night. Dinner and overnight stay on the houseboat.
After breakfast at the houseboat, leave for Kovalam. En route, visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, a renowned Hindu shrine in Trivandrum, the state capital. After exploring its intricate beauty, we'll hit the road again, arriving at your resort in Kovalam. Later, lose yourself in the sun-kissed sands of Kovalam Beach. Spend the afternoon soaking up the sun and the scenic views. In the evening, enjoy the sunset views at the vibrant Lighthouse Beach. After a day filled with cultural immersion and coastal charm, retreat to your Kovalam resort for a restful sleep.
After breakfast at your resort, soaking in the coastal ambiance. Head to Kovalam Beach to enjoy the inviting waves of the Arabian Sea. Explore the iconic lighthouse, watch the stunning sunset, and, if available, partake in a cozy bonfire on the beach. Return to the resort for an overnight stay in Kovalam.
After breakfast at the resort, our driver will transfer you to Trivandrum International Airport, to board a flight to home or onward destination.
