Zangto Pelri Lhakhang

Located in the heart of Phuentsholing, Jangto Pelri is a Buddhist monastery and a classic example of the ancient architecture of Bhutan. Built in 1990 by Dasho Aku Tongmi, who also composed Bhutan's national anthem, this beautiful structure houses numerous statues of Buddhist gurus, many of them as high as 4 meters. There is a nice park in front with a huge ball fountain, a small pond and prayer wheels.
