Spring (March to May)

Spring is one of the best times to visit Gangtok. The famous rhododendron forests of Sikkim are in spectacular bloom from March to May, covering the hillsides in red, pink, and white. The weather is mild and pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 8 to 18 degrees Celsius. Mountain views including Kanchenjunga are often clear and stunning before the monsoon clouds arrive. Autumn (October to December)

Autumn is another excellent time to visit.
