Itinerary
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport, our local driver will warmly greet you and facilitate your transfer to Gangtok, the enchanting capital of Sikkim nestled amidst majestic mountains. Upon reaching Gangtok, settle into your hotel and enjoy a leisurely evening at your own pace. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, a high altitude glacial lake located at 12,400 feet near the Indo China border. Surrounded by rugged mountains and seasonal snow, the lake remains one of the most visited attractions in Sikkim and often freezes during winter months. Continue to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a sacred shrine dedicated to an Indian Army soldier who is widely respected by locals and army personnel. Located at an altitude of around 13,200 feet, the site holds deep cultural and historical significance in the region. After sightseeing, return to Gangtok for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Please note: Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir visits are subject to weather conditions, road accessibility, and permit approvals. Foreign nationals may have restricted access to certain areas. Alternate sightseeing may be arranged if required.
Early in the morning, visit Tashi View Point to enjoy panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga range and surrounding valleys during the best visibility hours. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, drive to Rumtek Monastery, one of Sikkim’s most important monasteries and a major center of Tibetan Buddhism. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk along MG Marg, Gangtok’s lively pedestrian boulevard lined with cafés and local shops. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Begin with Hanuman Tok, a peaceful hilltop temple maintained by the Indian Army and known for panoramic Himalayan views. Continue to Ganesh Tok, a small temple and viewpoint offering scenic views of Gangtok and the surrounding mountains. Visit the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom (closed on Sundays), where traditional Sikkimese arts and handicrafts are showcased. Later, explore the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), known for its collection of Buddhist manuscripts, artifacts, and Tibetan heritage. Continue to Do Drul Chorten, an important Buddhist stupa surrounded by prayer wheels. End the day at Banjhakri Falls and Energy Park, a scenic attraction with waterfalls and landscaped gardens. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Lachung, a beautiful Himalayan village located at an altitude of around 8,610 feet in North Sikkim. Enjoy the scenic journey through mountain roads, lush valleys, waterfalls, and charming villages. En route, stop at viewpoints and waterfalls to admire the natural beauty and capture memorable photographs. Upon arrival in Lachung, check in at the hotel and relax amidst the peaceful mountain surroundings. Overnight stay in Lachung.
Start your day with an early breakfast and proceed for an excursion to Yumthang Valley, located at an altitude of around 11,800 feet. Often called the Valley of Flowers, this breathtaking destination is known for its seasonal blooms, snow covered landscapes, alpine meadows, and panoramic mountain scenery. Flowing through the valley, the Yumthang River adds to the region’s serene beauty. During winter, the valley transforms into a spectacular snow-covered landscape. After exploring the area and enjoying the scenic surroundings, return to Lachung for lunch and leisure time. Overnight stay at the hotel in Lachung.
After breakfast, drive back to Gangtok, enjoying scenic views of mountains, valleys, and waterfalls along the route. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. The rest of the day is at leisure. If any sightseeing remains from your earlier Gangtok city tour, it can be covered today depending on time and availability. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will transfer you to Bagdogra Airport to board a flight to home or onward journey.

- If rooms are not available at the mentioned hotels, we will provide alternate hotels of a similar category. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability.
- All Foreign Tourists (except those of Bhutanese origin) must obtain a Restricted Area Permit (RAP) to enter Protected or Restricted Areas in Sikkim. The permit is issued free of cost and can be obtained from the Ministry of Home Affairs - Government of India (New Delhi), All Indian Missions Abroad, and Immigration Offices at the airports in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, and New Delhi.
- List of Restricted Areas for Foreign Tourists (All Foreign Tourists need to obtain RAP to visit following destinations in Sikkim):
- East: Gangtok, Rumtek, Pakyong, Barapathing, Rongli, Rhenock, Aritar, and Rorathang.
- West: Gyalshing, Soreng, Pemagyangtse, khechepopalri, Tashiding and Yuksom.
- South: Namchi and Ravangla.
- North: Phodong, Mangan and Singhik upto Toong.
- Prior Clearance Requirements for Restricted Area Permit (RAP)
- Foreign Nationals, OCIs, or citizens of Pakistan, Afghanistan, or China (including Hong Kong and Macau) require prior approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India (New Delhi) before applying for a RAP.
- Individuals of Pakistani, Afghan, or Chinese origin (by birth), also from PRC countries, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau, must obtain prior approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs before applying for a RAP.
- Individuals born in or nationals, OCIs, or citizens of Myanmar or Nigeria require prior clearance from either the Ministry of Home Affairs or the Home Department of Sikkim before entering the state.
- Permit and Document Requirements: Need a clear Passport Copy or Identity Proof to get the required permits for Tsomgo Lake, New Baba Mandir, Nathula Pass, Lachen, and Lachung. Foreign tourists are not permitted to visit Nathula Pass, Gurudongmar Lake, and Zuluk in Sikkim.
- Nathula Pass permits require an additional fee, issued on a rotation basis with confirmation only 24 hours before travel. Visits are allowed from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, requiring early departure from Gangtok. Efforts will be made to secure permits, but refunds are only given if unsuccessful due to weather or other factors—not if the permit is issued but the visit cannot be made. Small groups may be combined, requiring vehicle changes without refunds.
- Tourism infrastructure in Sikkim and Darjeeling is limited, with many hotels lacking lifts and facing water and power restrictions. Guests with health concerns should request lower-floor rooms at booking. Due to high altitude, Gurudongmar Lake is not recommended for seniors and children under 10.
- Eco-Friendly Travel: To support sustainability, bring a reusable water bottle and avoid single-use plastics.
- For easy communication on the go, consider downloading WhatsApp, as it is widely used in India. Expect limited internet access in remote areas. Let your family and friends know about possible communication gaps during your trip.
- Transportation is provided according to the itinerary only and is not available on a disposal or point-to-point basis.
- Tipping in India, it is optional but appreciated. A small gratuity is expected in some cases; tip generously for exceptional service. The amount can range from $2, $5, $10 per day, or more, depending on satisfaction and the quality of service received.
- Any costs arising from natural calamities such as road blockages, political disturbances (e.g., strikes), etc., are to be borne by the client. We will not be held liable for any refunds or compensation claims resulting from these circumstances.

Payment Terms
A deposit of 10% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 60 days prior tour starting date. For any bookings within 60 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.
Cancellation
