Vekkali Amman Temple
Vekkali Amman Temple is dedicated to Goddess Vekkali who is believed to be an incarnation of Goddess Durga. This temple is located in Vorayyur village of Tiruchirappalli in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The goddess is considered a symbol of immense strength, will, peace and harmony. There is an idol of Vekkali Amman in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. The main feature of the temple is the absence of a roof over the sanctum. The idol of Vekkali Amman is seen in a sitting posture. She is seen carrying a trident, udukkai, a rope and an Akshaya Patra in all her four hands.
Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple
Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple is a prominent Hindu temple located in Srirangam near Trichy. It is one of the famous temples of South India, and one of the most visited places in Tamil Nadu. Built in the Dravidian style of architecture, the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple is the most prominent of the eight self-manifested temples of Lord Vishnu, and is one of the important pilgrimage sites in Tamil Nadu. Built over an area of ​​156 acres, this temple is dedicated to Ranganatha, a reclining form of the Hindu deity, Lord Vishnu. The temple is situated on an island formed by twin rivers Kaveri and Kolidam. The presiding deity of the temple is Sri Brahmapureeswarar in the form of Swayambhu Lingam. He is called Brahmapureshwar because of changing the fate of Brahma. There are seven enclosures leading to the sanctum. Every year in the Tamil month of Panguni (March-April) the sunlight falls directly on the presiding deity for three days. It is a miracle that the rays of the sun cross the seven entrances and fall directly on the Shivling. Goddess Parvati is worshiped in the form of Brahma Sampat Gauri, which is situated near the Sri Brahmapureeswarar temple.
Uchi Pillayar Temple
Uchi Pillayar Temple is a 7th-century Hindu temple dedicated to the god Ganesha, located on top of Rockfort, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India. The most famous landmark of Tiruchirappalli is the Rockfort Temple. It is also known as Uchi Pillaiyar Kovil. It is in the middle of the city. It is a 275 feet high rock formation. It is reached by a steep flight of 437 steps cut into the rock. Halfway there is the Sri Thayumanaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. It has a 100 pillared hall and a vimana. These temples have inscriptions which date back to the 3rd century BC.

The Agaya Gangai or Akasa Ganga Falls is located in the Kolli Hills of the East. This is one of the best waterfalls near Trichy. Akasa Ganga is an attractive 300 feet waterfall on the Ayyaru River.
