Badaviling Temple is a wonderful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Hindu deity Shiva is worshiped in this temple in the form of a linga. The huge Shiva Linga of the Badavilinga temple is situated inside a small stone chamber. There is only one opening in front of the hall through which devotees can enter. An interesting thing about the stone chamber design is that it has no ceiling. During the day, sunlight enters through the opening of the roof and fills the Shiva Linga with light. Badvilinga Temple is located near Lakshmi Narasimha Temple. Throughout the year, this temple is visited by tourists as well as devotees.
