Itinerary

On arrival at Bengaluru (Bangalore) airport, Alkof Holidays representative will welcome you at Bengaluru Airport and transfer you to the hotel. After check-in at the hotel, take some rest at the hotel and later proceed for the sightseeing of the Garden City of India - Bangalore. Start your sightseeing, with a visit to Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, a 240 acre garden with largest collection of tropical plants, aquarium, glass house and a lake, later visit Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha (outside view), Bangalore Palace, and Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace. In the evening, visit ISKCON temple at Hare Krishna Hill. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Mysore (Mysuru) - one of the most important cultural city of Karnataka and known for it's beautiful palaces and charming gardens. On the way, visit Shri Ranganathaswamy temple in Srirangapatna. Later continue your drive to Mysore, upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later in the evening visit Brindavan Gardens, one of the major attractions near the city of Mysore. The main attraction of the Brindvan Gardens is the musical fountain in which bursts of water are synchronized to the music of songs. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Kesava temple at Somnathpur. Later visit Mysore Zoo - city's most popular attraction and one of the oldest and most popular zoos in India. Also visit the Golden Throne at the Durbar hall, the Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills (Chamundeshwari Temple), and the St. Philomena's Church, built in the Gothic style and one of the largest churches in the country. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Chikmagalur. On the way to Chikmagalur, visit 12th centuary Chennakeshava temple at Belur, one of the finest examples of Hoysala architecture. Later continue drive to Chikmagalur for overnight stay.

Early in the morning, take a leisurely walk at Chikmagalur to explore the beautiful location, visit the Coffee estates, where coffee was first cultivated in India. Later drive back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Chikmagalur. Enjoy the breathtaking views and unpolluted ambiance and the lush green coffee plantation hills of Chikmagalur, which makes it heaven for the travelers,  visit the cascading Hebbe waterfalls, which lie in an area of coffee plantations. Also visit Baba Budangiri, a mountain range in the Western Ghats, with 3 large caves said to be holy. Later visit the Annapoorneshwari Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Annapoorneshwari (Annapoorna), located at Horanadu. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Post breakfast, leave for Hospet. On arrival, check-in at the hotel, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the popular Tungabhadra Dam also known as Pampa Sagar is constructed across the Tungabhadra River, a tributary of the Krishna River. Later in the day, visit the major tourist attraction of Hospet covering Royal Place, Lotus Mahal, Vittala temple and the Archaeological Museum. In the evening visit Anantashayana temple built in 1524 AD, by King Krishnadeva Raya (1524 AD) of the Vijayanagara Empire. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, leave for Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hampi the charismatic ruined state, that attracts thousands of tourist every year. On arrival at Hampi, check-in at the hotel. Relax at the hotel, later proceed for the sightseeing tour of Hampi, visit the famous ruins of Hampi. Start your sightseeing from the Virupaksha Temple, which rises majestically at the western end of the famous Hampi Bazaar. The temple has a 120 feet tall tower on its eastern entrance. The temple contains the shrines of Shiva, Pampa, and Bhuvaneswari. Parts of this temple are older than the Vijayanagara kingdom itself. Also visit the popular Vithala temple complex with its 56 musical pillars - undoubtedly the most splendid monument of Hampi Complex. To the east of the hall is the famous Stone Chariot with stone wheels that actually revolve. The evening is free to walk amidst the ruins of Hampi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, leave for Badami. Badami was the royal capital of Chalukyas. The city, houses a large number of cave temples, entryways, fortresses and carvings. On arrival at Badami, check-in at your hotel. Relax at the hotel and later visit Badami Fort, Open Air Museum and the Cave temples. The Badami cave temples are a complex of temples, considered the finest example of Indian rock-cut architecture, especially Badami Chalukya Architecture. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, visit Aihole and Pattadakal. At Pattadakal visit the Group of Monuments at Pattadakal, a complex of 7th and 8th century CE Hindu and Jain temples. After that proceed to Aihole to visit several tourist attractions including the 7th centuary Durga temple, a medieval Hindu temple a rare apsidal or round-ended Hindu temple, representing a final stage in the transition of the ancient chaitya hall tradition to later Hindu temple architecture. Also visit the Chalukya Shiva Temple, and Ravana Phadi Cave temples. Overnight stay at the hotel in Badami.

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Hubli. Upon arrival in Hubli check-in at the hotel, later in the day visit the centuries-old Chandramouleshwara Temple, Dedicated to Lord Shiva, which has black granite pillars and ornate carvings. After that visit gardens surround Unkal Lake, which features a statue of monk Swami Vivekananda in its center. Also visit Utsav Rock Garden, home to sculptures depicting local folk culture. Later in the evening, visit Nrupatunga Betta hill  that offers sunset and city views. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, leave for Goa. Upon arrival in Goa, check-in at the resort, later head out to enjoy a great time at the various beaches of North Goa, including Candolim Beach, Anjuna Beach and others. Later in the evening, you can visit any of the popular beach shacks which serve delicious food. Overnight stay at the resort.

After breakfast at the resort, visit Old Goa - famous for 15th and 16th century old Churches. Some of the famous tourist attractions, that you will visit are Se Cathedral, Basilica of Bom Jesus, and Church of St. Francis of Assisi. Evening is free for own leisure. Overnight stay at the resort.

After breakfast at the resort, enjoy full day at Goa's beaches. You can spend the day by just relaxing on the beautiful white sandy beaches, or you can opt for some water based adventure activities (Payable on direct basis). Overnight stay at the resort.

A deposit of 10% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 60 days prior tour starting date. For any bookings within 60 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.

Cancellation

No additional cancellation fees apply for this tour. You can cancel the tour prior tour starting date and avoid paying the full amount, but the deposit you have paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within of tour starting date.
