Alibaug Beach

The beaches in Alibaug are not only famous for the picturesque backdrop but are also the hub of water adventures. Khanderi Fort

Khanderi Fort was constructed around 320 years ago in 1678. Khanderi and Andri are forts built on two islands near Thal, very close to Alibaug. It came under British rule for a short time. It was handed over to him by the Peshwa dynasty. Situated in Alibaug, the fort is located 3 km from the Thai beach, standing firmly on a piece of small island. There is also a lighthouse nearby.

Kulaba Fort

The fort is about 50 feet high and is considered an ancient architectural marvel. The nineteen bastions of the fort still stand today, showing their glorious past with pride. Just a boat ride away from the sandy shore, the splendid fort terrace not only offers a glimpse into the past but also offers a splendid view of the Arabian Sea all around.

Vikram Vinayak Temple

Vikram Vinayak Temple at Salao, about 20 kms from Alibaug. Built by the Birla Group as part of its Vikram Steel Plant Complex Which is popularly called 'Birla Mandir'. The huge dome made of white granite is visible from afar. Situated on a small hill, you can walk on well-paved steps to reach the temple. The temple's surroundings are composed of a well-planned garden and colorful fountains.
