Itinerary
On arrival at the New Delhi airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city's bustling streets or wander its wide tree-lined boulevards to get your first taste of India. Overnight stay in New Delhi.
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi, a city with a rich history dating back to the 6th century BC. Begin your tour at Rajghat, the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Next, visit Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan. Experience the vibrant atmosphere with a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi's busiest market. Drive past the Presidential House and India Gate in Edwin Lutyen's Delhi. Explore Humayun's Tomb, built in 1562 by his wife, Hamida Banu Begum. Conclude your day with a visit to the Qutab Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret, commissioned by Qutbuddin Aibak. In the evening, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast at your hotel, leave for Agra. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the beautiful Itmad-ud-Daulah and the grand Agra Fort. Later, head to Mehtab Bagh, located across from the Taj Mahal, to admire a stunning sunset view of the monument. Afterward, explore marble inlay workshops and enjoy shopping in Agra’s vibrant markets. Overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.
Early morning, visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then drive to Ramathra Fort. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri. Upon arrival, check in at the fort and relax. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Kalisil Dam. Overnight stay at Ramathra Fort.
Ramathra Fort: Situated on a hilltop, Ramathra Fort offers spectacular views of Kalisil Lake, its surrounding hills and countryside. Small rural hamlets dot the picturesque farmland below. Water birds abound on the lake which is also a rich feeding ground for the ducks, storks and cormorants that visit every winter. Birds such as local water fowl, kingfishers, saras cranes, stilts and herons can be seen throughout the year.
After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour of Ramathra Village, observing local life and rural activities. You may also enjoy birdwatching around the fort and nearby lake. Later, drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, explore the markets of the old city. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a comprehensive guided tour of Jaipur. Begin your exploration with Rajasthan's iconic attraction, the Amber Fort and Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site constructed by Raja Man Singh in 1592 using red sandstone and marble. This majestic fort complex is perched atop a hill, offering panoramic views of Maota Lake and the surrounding landscapes. Explore its extensive palace sections and intricate architecture, which blend seamlessly with the natural terrain. Following your visit to Amber Fort, continue your Jaipur sightseeing with a visit to Jal Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, and the Albert Hall Museum. After an enriching day of sightseeing, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Jaipur.
After breakfast, depart for Pushkar. Upon arrival check in at your hotel. Relax at the hotel before exploring Pushkar Lake, one of India's holiest lakes, flanked by 52 bathing ghats where pilgrims come to purify themselves. Next, visit the Brahma Ji Temple, the only temple dedicated to the god Brahma in the world. If time permits, explore the cattle fair ground, renowned for the annual Pushkar Cattle Fair. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Pushkar.
After breakfast, begin your drive to Udaipur. Upon reaching Udaipur, check in at your hotel and unwind. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore on your own or relax. Enjoy a relaxing evening in the charming city of lakes. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your day with a visit to Sahelion-Ki-Bari, a beautiful garden made for the royal ladies of Udaipur. Next, visit the Museum of Folk Art, where you can see traditional costumes, puppets, dolls, masks, ornaments, musical instruments, and paintings. Continue to the City Palace, one of the largest palace complexes in Rajasthan, built by several generations of Maharajas. Explore the palace museum, known for its peacock mosaics and detailed miniature paintings showing Indian culture. Just outside the palace, visit the historic Jagdish Temple, a famous 17th-century Hindu temple. Later, take a short walk through the nearby local markets to explore handicrafts and souvenirs. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Lake Pichola, admiring the scenic views of the city and palaces. Return to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Jodhpur, making a captivating stop at the Ranakpur Jain Temples en route. Dating to the 15th century, the Ranakpur Jain Temples are renowned for their marble architecture and 1,444 intricately carved pillars, each featuring a distinct design and theme. Following your visit to Ranakpur, continue your journey to Jodhpur. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, set out to explore the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha. Perched on a 150-meter-high hill, this grand fort is one of Rajasthan's most formidable and majestic structures. As you tour the fort, admire its seven gates, including Jayapol (Victory Gate), which Maharaja Man Singh constructed to commemorate his victories over Jaipur and Bikaner. You can still see the battle scars on the fort's second gate. Next, visit Jaswant Thada, the elegant marble cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, and then explore Mandore Garden, Clock Tower, and Sardar Market. Conclude your day with a visit to the Umaid Bhawan Museum, located within the Umaid Bhawan Palace, one of the worlds largest private residences built between 1928 and 1943. The palace is divided into a luxury hotel, royal quarters, and the Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jodhpur.

Next, visit Gadisar Lake, a prominent city attraction, and the Bada Bagh, a historic garden complex, featuring royal cenotaphs set against a mango grove, built by the Maharajas of Jaisalmer in the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Continue to Lalgarh Palace, known for its distinctive Indo-Saracenic architecture, followed by the beautifully decorated Rampuria Havelis.
Next, visit Bhandasar Jain Temple, admired for its detailed carvings, paintings and ornamental interiors. Later, drive to Deshnoke to visit Karni Mata Temple, known for the thousands of sacred rats protected and worshipped within the temple complex. Return to Bikaner and spend the evening at leisure.
