Mahakaleshwar Temple
Mahakaleshwar Temple, located in the ancient city of Ujjain in the state of Madhya Pradesh, is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Mahakal lingam at this temple is believed to be Swayambhu (self-manifested), obtaining currents of Shakti (power) from within itself. Another factor that makes Mahakaleshwar one of the most revered Jyotirlingas in India is the fact that the Mahakaleshwar idol is Dakshina Mukhi, facing south, unlike all the other Jyotirlingas. Considered no less than a Hindu pilgrimage, the Bhasma-Aarti of Mahakaleshwar Temple is hugely popular amongst the devotees.
Ram Ghat

Kal Bhairav Temple
Kal Bhairav Temple Ujjain is a must-visit temple famous for its unique tradition of offering liquor to god. History of this temple at Ujjain is very interesting and the Pagdi (Crown) which Lord wearing is of King of Shinde or Schindia of Gwalior. Kal Bhairav Temple is said to have been built by King Bhadrasen on the banks of Shipra River. This ancient temple is dedicated to Kal Bhairav, the chief among the eight Bhairavs. The worship of Kal Bhairav is a part of Shaivite tradition, mainly by the Kapalika and Aghora sects. Jantar Mantar
The architectural marvel Jantar Mantar (also known as Veda Shala Observatory) established in the 17th century is the oldest to be built among the group of five observatories (Jaipur, Delhi, Ujjain, Mathura, and Varanasi). Maharaja Jai ​​Singh started its construction in 1719 to help Hindu scholars and astrologers in their research and studies. Harsiddhi Temple
Harsiddhi temple is located between Rama ghat and Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain. The devotees after worshipping Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga also visit here and seek the blessings of Annapurna Devi in this temple. The distance between these two temples is about one k.m. Harsiddhi temple was rebuilt during the rulings of Marathas. The Marathi art can be here on the two pillars decorated with lamps. The atmosphere becomes more divine during Navratras due to the beauty of these pillars.
Kaliadeh Palace
Kaliadeh Palace is one of the most famous historical sites in the city. This palace was built a long time ago in the year 1458 AD by the Sultan of Mandu.
