Day-to-Day ITINERARY
Stay - Bangalore
On the day of arrival at Bengaluru (Bangalore), Alkof Holidays representative will welcome you at the Bengaluru Airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later proceed for the sightseeing of the Garden city of India - Bangalore, visit Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, a 240 acre garden with largest collection of tropical plants, aquarium, Glass House and a lake, later visit Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha (outside view), and Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace. In the evening, visit ISKCON temple at Hare Krishna Hill. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Mysore
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Mysore. En-route halt at Srirangapatna, visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple - enshrines Lord Vishnu as Ranganatha in reclining posture on the bed laid out by the serpent Aadi Sesha. Later visit Dariya Daulat Bagh, "the wealth of the sea", referred to as the summer palace of Tipu Sultan. Also visit Srirangapatana Fort and Gumbuz. Later continue your drive to Mysore, on arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure, overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Mysore
After breakfast, drive to Chamundi Hills to pay your obeisance to Goddess Chamundeshwari. On the way back to city you will see Statue of Mahishasura and Nandi. Visit the Mysore Zoo, one of the oldest and well maintained zoo in India. After that you will visit Mysore Palace, one of the largest palaces in the country. Early evening drive to KRS- Brindavan Gardens a show garden that has botanical park with fountains as well as a musical fountain. Overnight stay at the hotel in Mysore.

Stay - Nagarhole National Park
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed toward Nagarhole National Park, also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park. Nagarhole national park is home to a variety of animal such as elephant, tiger, leopard, etc. On arrival, check-in at the resort. Rest and relax at the resort and later in the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari inside the National Park. Overnight stay at the resort.

Stay - Wayanad
Optional early morning safari. After breakfast, drive to the rainforest region of Wayanad. Occupying a position on the edge of the stunning Western Ghats, Wayanad is an area of outstanding natural beauty with lush tropical forests, deep valleys, waterfalls and sprawling plantations. Upon arrival, check in at the resort. The evening time is free to spend at the Pookot Lake and having a wonderful time where you can connect yourself with the real nature. Later, return back to the resort for an overnight stay.

Stay - Wayanad
The day is free at leisure, you can enjoy bird watching and a natural walk in the tangled forests. Or you can rejuvenate your mind, body and sole in the lap of the nature. In the evening, return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, proceed to Coonoor by Train. Cab will reach by road and take you for Coonoor Sightseeing - Sim’s Park, Lam’s Rock, Dolphin Nose and Ketty Valley. Back in Ooty visit Tea factory, Tea Museum and Doddabetta Peak. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a local sightseeing in and around Cochin - the Queen of Arabian Sea, this is one of the finest natural harbors in the World and was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, etc. Sightseeing attractions in Cochin include Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Alleppey
After breakfast, drive to the Backwaters of Alleppey. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboat. Check in time is 01:00 PM and cruise starts with lunch. While cruising in these floating villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual – skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed–down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Evening is free at leisure, you can explore the local market of Alleppey. Food will be served onboard. Overnight stay at the houseboat.

Stay - Alleppey
After breakfast, the houseboat cruise resumes at 10 AM. The houseboat moves towards Nedumudy, making a stop at the Lissio Church for visit. The next stop is Kavalam, Veliyanadu village walk, Kidangara, Mathikayal and Chundan Vallam. After these visits, you can also try our country boat canoeing at Kainakary. The houseboat is anchored for night at Nedumudy.

Stay - Alleppey
After breakfast, the houseboat cruise resumes at 10 AM. The houseboat moves towards Thakazhi via Mancompu. De-board at the Pullincunnu dock and visit the banana plantation. Visit the Pullincunnu church, Kottaram temple, St. Mary’s Church, the statue carving unit, local market at Champakulam, Pullangadi, Pindithodu and vegetable plantation. The houseboat is anchored for the night at Thakazhi.

Enjoy your breakfast at the houseboat, while travelling towards Pallathuruthy via Kanjipadam. You will reach the jetty dock by 9.00 AM. Meet our driver and head back to Cochin airport to board the flight to your home or onward destination.

Many of our travelers join because they are traveling solo. So yes it is absolutely safe to travel solo on this tour. As a solo traveler, you have to pay single supplement charges. Please let us know at time of booking and we’ll arrange the rooming configuration accordingly.
Our tour cost includes personal assistance during arrival and departure, hotel accommodations with breakfast, all transfers, sightseeing and excursions by private air-conditioned car/van/coach depending on a number of persons with as per itinerary, English speaking local guide, all applicable taxes and dedicated manager with 24x7 support. We can also include lunch and dinner, domestic flights, and other services on request at an additional cost.
The normal check-in and check-out timings in a majority of the hotels are 1400 hours and the 1200 hours respectively. Early check-in's and late check-out's are subject to availability of the rooms, thus we suggest you to book your room(s) previous night itself if you arriving early then the normal check-in time or if you have a late check-out. Just let us know your arrival and departure timing at the time of booking your tour with us and we will help you in managing your stay for the extra hours.
We provide 3 star comfort hotels in our standard tour packages. However you can always upgrade your accommodations to 4 star hotels or 5 star luxury hotels or charming boutique hotels/heritage palaces or any special hotel of your choice at an additional cost.
Alkof Holidays is committed to making travel widely accessible, regardless of ability or disability. We ask that you carefully consider whether you are physically and mentally able to complete the itinerary. We will make reasonable adjustments to the operation of our trip to facilitate the requirements of disabled travelers – such as booking ground floor accommodation or having your tour manager communicate important directions in writing as well as verbally. One must possess a passport which is valid for minimum 6 months from the date of entry into India. Many countries have been included in the list of countries whose citizens are provided E-Visa facility provided they apply 72 hours in advance. Other nationals need to obtain Indian visa in advance to enter India.
Yes. It is advisable that you buy a comprehensive medical/travel insurance in advance from your country before traveling to India.
You will be greeted by our representative at the airport on your arrival. He shall be holding a company placard with your name written on it for your identification. We shall also provide you list of emergency 24 hours contact numbers for any emergency.

PAYMENT TERMS
If you are interested in booking any of our brochure tours, you may simply send us an email giving us your details. We normally need an advance amount once we confirm the arrangements for the tour. The amount depends on the services you may require for the tour. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. We need balance payment before arrival or as per below schedule.
- 30 days or more before the date of departure: 25% of the total cost
- 29 - 20 days before the date of departure: 50% of the total cost
- 19 - 16 days before the date of departure: 100% of the total cost
Important: The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 100% payment is not received 16 days prior to departure date and received amount will be fully forfeited.
CANCELLATION
If you cancel your holiday:
You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges per person applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:
- Between 30 - 45 days before the date of departure: 25% of the total cost
- Between 17 - 29 days before the date of departure: 50% of the total cost
- Up-to 16 days before the date of departure: 100% of the total cost
If we change or cancel your holiday:
We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements.
