Day-to-Day ITINERARY
Stay - Mysore
On the day of arrival at the Bangalore airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet and transfer you to Mysore. Mysore is the cultural city of Karnataka and known for beautiful palaces and charming gardens. On arrival at Mysore, check-in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later visit Mysore Zoo, and in the evening visit Brindavan Gardens, one of the major attractions near the city of Mysore. The main attraction of the Brindvan Gardens is the musical fountain in which bursts of water are synchronized to the music of songs. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Ooty
After breakfast, visit Srirangapatna and the Kesava temple at Somnathpur. Later visit the Golden Throne at the Durbar hall (During Dussehra Festival), the Mysore Palace, and Chamundi Hills (Chamundeshwari Temple). Also visit the St. Philomena's Church, built in the Gothic style - it is one of the largest churches in the country. After finishing Mysore sightseeing, leave for Ooty. On the way visit the Pykara Lake, which offers a great view. On arrival at Ooty, check- in at the hotel for night stay.

Stay - Ooty
After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing of Ooty - the queen of hills. Ooty is among the hill stations in India. Visit Botanical garden - picturesque gardens spread across 22 hectares with 650 species of plants and trees, Ooty Lake, Doddabetta Peak - the highest peak in the Nilgiris, and and Ooty Children's Park. Evening is reserved for exploring the local markets of Ooty. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Stay - Kodaikanal
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and head towards Coonoor. There is also a toy train ride that takes you to Coonoor, you can opt for that. After the exciting train journey, visit Tea Gardens, Dolphin Nose, Lambs Rock, and Sims Park which is spread over an area of 12 hectares and is situated in Upper Coonoor. All the attractions of Coonoor offer enchanting views of the Nilgiri hills. Later drive toward Kodaikanal, upon arrival check-in to the hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Stay - Kodaikanal
After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing of Kodaikanal that takes you to Kodai Lake, Coaker's Walk, Silver Cascade, and Bear Shoal Falls. In the evening explore the local markets. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Many of our travelers join because they are traveling solo. So yes it is absolutely safe to travel solo on this tour. As a solo traveler, you have to pay single supplement charges. Please let us know at time of booking and we’ll arrange the rooming configuration accordingly.
Our tour cost includes personal assistance during arrival and departure, hotel accommodations with breakfast, all transfers, sightseeing and excursions by private air-conditioned car/van/coach depending on a number of persons with as per itinerary, English speaking local guide, all applicable taxes and dedicated manager with 24x7 support. We can also include lunch and dinner, domestic flights, and other services on request at an additional cost.
The check-in and the check-out timings in a majority of the hotels are 1400 hours and the 1200 hours respectively. Early check-in's and late check-out's are subject to availability of the rooms, thus we suggest you to book your room(s) previous night itself if you arriving early then the normal check-in time or if you have a late check-out. Just let us know your arrival and departure timing at the time of booking your tour with us and we will help you in managing your stay for the extra hours.
We provide 3 star comfort hotels in our standard tour packages. However you can always upgrade your accommodations to 4 star hotels or 5 star luxury hotels or charming boutique hotels/heritage palaces or any special hotel of your choice at an additional cost.

PAYMENT TERMS
Client only requires a deposit of 10% of the total amount of the tour to confirm their booking. The remaining balance is then payable 30 days prior to the departure date. For any tour departing within 30 days the full payment of the tour is necessary. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. After receiving the payment, a receipt will be sent directly to client's registered email-id and the final tour documentation will be emailed out approximately 1-2 weeks prior to departure.
CANCELLATION
No additional cancellation fees! You can cancel the tour up to 15 days prior to the departure date and you will not need to pay the full amount of you tour, but the deposit of 10% is non-refundable. But, the deposit is fully transferable to your future bookings with Alkof Holidays.
