Day-to-Day ITINERARY
Stay - Delhi
On the day of arrival, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you at the New Delhi airport and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Delhi
After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi, visit Jama Masjid, take a short rickshaw ride at the Chandni Chowk (A huge market of spices and clothes), also visit Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple (Bahai’s Temple) and Qutub Minar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay – Udaipur
After breakfast, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to New Delhi airport to board the flight to Udaipur. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Chittorgarh. Stay – Pushkar
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Pushkar. On the way, visit Ajmer Shareef Dargah “shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti” and Adhey–Din–Ka Jhonpara – a mosque. Later continue drive to Pushkar. Upon arrival at Pushkar check–in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel and in the evening, enjoy a Camel ride to nearby village and desert. Enjoy cultural event including local Folk dances at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Pushkar, is a holy town in the Ajmer district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is a pilgrimage site for Hindus and Sikhs. Pushkar has many temples. The most famous among Pushkar temples is the red spired Lord Brahma Temple, built during the 14th century CE. Pushkar is located on the shore of Pushkar Lake, which has many ghats where pilgrims bathe. Pushkar is also significant for its Gurdwaras for Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind Singh. One of the bathing ghats is called Gobind ghat built by the Marathas in the memory of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

Stay – Jaipur
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel, later proceed for the sightseeing tour of Jaipur, visit City Palace, The Hawa Mahal (palace of winds), Jantar Mantar, Amer Fort, Jal Mahal (Water Palace) and enjoy evening sunset at Surya Mandir, if time permits you can visit some other interesting places as well. Stay – Agra
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Agra. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri, the oldest deserted town built by the Mughal Kingdom in 1571 and built by red stone, in the honor of Saint Salim Chisti. Visit Diwane-e-Khas, Punch Mahal, the Tomb of Salim Chisti, and the Buland Darwaza (one of the largest and tallest gateways in the world). Later continue your drive toward Agra for overnight stay.

Stay – Gwalior
Early morning before sunrise visit the world’s most popular and beautiful monument Taj Mahal along with Mehtab Bagh, later get back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Gwalior. On the way visit Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb, and Akbar’s Tomb in Sikandra. Upon arrival at Gwalior, check-in at your hotel for overnight stay.

Stay – Overnight Train Journey
In the morning, proceed for an excorted tour of Orchha. Visit Jehangir Mahal, The Raj Mahal with its murals and The Raj Praveen Mahal built near a garden and also visit Dinman Hardaul`s palace, also visit Phool Bagh, Dinman Hardaul's Palace and Sunder Mahal. Later visit the highly preserved temples of Orchha. The two main temples at Orchha are "the Ram Raja Temple" and "the Chaturbhuj temple". In the evening, Alkof Holidays representative will transfer you to Orchha railway station from where you would board an overnight train to New Delhi.

Stay – Overnight Train Journey
Upon arrival at Amritsar railway station in the morning, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later in the afternoon visit Indo-Pak Wagha Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony, after that drive back to the hotel for night stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day guided tour of Amritsar, visit Golden Temple - central religious place of the Sikhs, and a symbol of human brotherhood and equality. Also visit Jallianwala Bagh, Durgiana Temple, Jhulna Mahal, Goindwal Sahib, Khadur Sahib, Taran Tarn Sahib, Bir BaBa Budha ji, Sanh Sahib, and Cheharta Sahib Gurudwaras. Also visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum - The summer place of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, which is situated in the heart of Ram Bagh, Amritsar. Later drive back to the hotel. Many of our travelers join because they are traveling solo. So yes it is absolutely safe to travel solo on this tour. As a solo traveler, you have to pay single supplement charges. Please let us know at time of booking and we’ll arrange the rooming configuration accordingly.
Our tour cost includes hotel accommodations with breakfast, all transfers, sightseeing and excursions by private air-conditioned car/van/coach depending on a number of persons with as per itinerary, local English speaking guide, our assistance on arrival, on departure and during the tour and all applicable taxes including 5% GST. We can also include lunches & dinner, domestic flights, and other services on request at an additional cost.
The check-in and the check-out timings in a majority of the hotels are 1400 hours and the 1200 hours respectively. However, these timings are flexible and thus, can be made early or late as per the convenience of the guests, but the flexibility is highly dependent upon the number of rooms available when you will be arriving at the designated hotel. It is not guaranteed that the rooms for your complimentary late or early check-ins shall be kept on hold for you, thus we suggest that there must be the reservation of your rooms from the previous night itself.
We provide 3 star comfort hotels in our standard tour packages. However you can always upgrade your accommodations to 4 star hotels or 5 star luxury hotels or charming boutique hotels/heritage palaces or any special hotel of your choice at an additional cost.
Alkof Holidays is committed to making travel widely accessible, regardless of ability or disability. We ask that you carefully consider whether you are physically and mentally able to complete the itinerary. We will make reasonable adjustments to the operation of our trip to facilitate the requirements of disabled travelers – such as booking ground floor accommodation or having your tour manager communicate important directions in writing as well as verbally. Further please let us know at the time of booking and we’ll arrange your tour accordingly.
One must possess a passport which is valid for minimum 6 months from the date of entry into India. Many countries have been included in the list of countries whose citizens are provided E-Visa facility provided they apply 72 hours in advance. Other nationals need to obtain Indian visa in advance to enter India.
Yes. It is advisable that you buy a comprehensive medical/travel insurance in advance from your country before traveling to India.

If you are interested in booking any of our brochure tours, you may simply send us an email giving us your details. We normally need an advance amount once we confirm the arrangements for the tour. The amount depends on the services you may require for the tour. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. We need balance payment before arrival.
We shall do our best to make changes as per your request and shall not charge you anything unless there is penalty charged by principal suppliers for making these changes.

PAYMENT TERMS

Important: The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 100% payment is not received 16 days prior to departure date and received amount will be fully forfeited.
CANCELLATION
If you cancel your holiday:
You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges per person applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:
- 30 days or more before the date of departure: 25% of the total cost
- 29 - 20 days before the date of departure: 50% of the total cost
- 19 - 10 days before the date of departure: 100% of the total cost
If we change or cancel your holiday:
We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements.
