On the day of arrival at New Delhi airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later visit Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple (Bhai’s Temple) and Qutub Minar. Overnight at the Hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, visit Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid, and Red Fort, also take a short rickshaw ride at the Chandni Chowk (A huge market of spices and clothes). In the evening, we will transfer you to New Delhi railway station, from where you would board a train to Umaria. Overnight train journey.
In the morning arrive at Umaria, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to the Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandhavgarh is well known for its highest density of tiger population in India, this national park is also a breeding ground for various species of deer and leopards. Upon arrival at the national park, check-in at the wildlife resort. Rest and relax at the hotel and later enjoy a Jeep safari at the Park. Later drive back to the wildlife resort for night stay.
Day 4 is reserved for morning Jeep Safari and an elephant safari in the afternoon at Bandhavgarh National Park, accompanied by a naturalist. Covering an area of 446 sq. km, this national park houses a vast variety of exotic flora and fauna. During your safari, you can spot animals like sambar, Bengal tigers, sloth bear, grey mongoose, python, rat snake, red jungle fowl, nilgai, chinkara, wild boar and more. Overnight stay at the resort.
Early in the morning, proceed for a Jeep Safari inside the national park and enjoy bird watching along with tiger-tracking. You can spot a number of colourful birds such as Bay Backed Shrike, White Eyed Buzzard, Indian Moorhen, Olive Backed Pipit, Black Headed Oriole, Yellow Crowned Woodpecker, Barred Button Quail, White Browed Fantail Flycatcher, Rose Ringed Parakeet, Alexandrine Parakeet and more. Also visit the Bandhavgarh Fort, located inside the park. Bandhavgarh Fort is placed on a hill, this fort is around 811 meters above the sea level. It is believed that this fort is 2000-years old. The fort has a total of 39 caves. Later get back to the resort for breakfast
Rest and relax at the hotel, later in the afternoon again proceed for a Jeep Safari inside the National Park. The evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay at the wildlife resort.
After breakfast drive to Kanha National Park, one of the most well-maintained national parks in Asia. This park was an inspiration behind the popular novel by Rudyard Kipling, ‘The Jungle Book’. Spread in 940 sq. km of land, this national park has Royal Bengal Tiger, sloth bears, leopards, barasingha and Indian wild dogs. Upon arrival at the national park in the afternoon, check-in at the resort. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the wildlife resort.
Days 7 and 8 are reserved for tiger safaris inside the Kanha National Park- one in the morning and another one in the afternoon. Kanha is known for housing more than 1000 species of flowering plants. During wildlife viewing, you can spot varied animals and birds like, chousingha, nilgai, mouse deer, jackal fox, tiger, sambar, gaur, peafowl, mongoose, leopard, python, spurfowl, ring doves, kingfishers, finches, woodpeckers, flycatchers, pintails, pond herons, rock pigeons, papihas, cuckoos, parakeets, green pigeons and so on. Also visit the Bamni Dadar or the Sunset Point, a major attraction inside the park. Overnight stay at the resort.
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Jabalpur. Upon arrival at Jabalpur, visit Dhauladhar Waterfall, Bhedaghaat, Madan Mahal Fort, Balance Rocks, Bargi Dam, Narmada Valley & Tripur Sundari Temple. In the evening, our representative will transfer you to Jabalpur railway station to board an overnight train to Sawai Madhopur.
Arrive at Sawai Madhopur in the morning, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to the Wildlife Resort at Ranthambore National Park. Rest and relax at the hotel, in the afternoon enjoy a Jeep Safari inside the national park. Overnight stay at the Wildlife Resort.
Ranthambore National park contains a huge variety of animals, birds, and reptiles within it. Primarily the population consists of:
Animals: Tigers, Leopards, Striped Hyenas, Sambar deer, Chital, Nilgai, Common or Hanuman langurs, Macaques, Jackals, Jungle cats, Caracals, Sloth bears, Black bucks, Rufoustailed Hare, Indian Wild Boar, Chinkara, Common Palm Civets or Toddy cat, Coomon Yellow Bats, Desert Cats, Fivestriped Palm Squirels, Indian False Vampires, Indian Flying Foxes, Indian Foxes, Indian Gerbilles, Indian Mole Rats, Indian Porcupines, Longeared Hedgehogs, Ratels, Small Indian Mongoose, Small Indian Civets and Common mongoose.
The amphibian species only consist of the Common India Toad and the Common Frog.
The park is most famous for its diurnal tigers.
The park also has a large number of marsh crocs Reptiles: Snub Nosed Marsh Crocodiles, Desert Monitor Lizards, Tortoise, Banded Kraits, Cobras, Common Kraits, Ganga Soft Shelled Turtles, Indian Pythons, North Indian Flap Shelled Turtles, Rat Snakes, Russel's Vipers, Saw-scaled Vipers and the Indian Chamaeleon.
Early morning Game drive to Ranthambore National park. In the afternoon transfer to Sawai Madhopur railway station to board the train to Nizamuddin Railway station in Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, our representative will transfer you to any covenient location in Delhi (As directed by client) or to the New Delhi Airport to board the flight to home or onward destination.
