On arrival at the New Delhi airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city's bustling streets or wander its wide tree-lined boulevards to get your first taste of India. Overnight stay in New Delhi.

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi, a city with a rich history dating back to the 6th century BC. Begin your tour at Rajghat, the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Next, visit Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan. Experience the vibrant atmosphere with a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi's busiest market. Drive past the Presidential House and India Gate in Edwin Lutyen's Delhi. Explore Humayun's Tomb, built in 1562 by his wife, Hamida Banu Begum. Conclude your day with a visit to the Qutab Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret, commissioned by Qutbuddin Aibak. In the evening, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will transfer you to IGI Airport New Delhi for your flight to Aurangabad. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, with time to relax and explore at your own pace. Overnight stay at the hotel in Aurangabad.

After breakfast, set out for a full-day excursion to the Ajanta Caves, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its ancient Buddhist cave temples adorned with exquisite murals and sculptures dating back to the 2nd century BCE. These caves are celebrated for their artistic excellence and their depiction of the life and teachings of Buddha. On the return journey, if time permits, visit Bibi ka Maqbara, often referred to as the “Taj of the Deccan,” built by Emperor Aurangzeb in memory of his wife. After a day rich in history and art, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Aurangabad.

Please Note: The Ajanta Caves remains closed on every Monday. If you start you tour on Monday, we will explore Ellora Caves, instead of Ajanta Caves.

After breakfast, proceed for a guided tour of Ellora Caves. The Ellora Caves consist of 34 rock-cut shrines representing Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain art dating from the 4th to 9th century A.D. The most remarkable is the Kailash Temple, believed to be a replica of Lord Shiva’s celestial abode and a true marvel of rock-cut architecture and engineering. Next, visit Daulatabad Fort, one of the most impressive and formidable forts in the country. Later our driver will transfer you to Aurangabad Airport to board a flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival in Mumbai Airport, our local driver will receive you and transfer you to your hotel in Mumbai for an overnight stay.

On arrival, check in at your resort and relax. You may enjoy a walk around the scenic surroundings and soak in the natural beauty. Overnight stay in Kanha National Park.

Bird enthusiasts can spot rare species like the Crested Serpent Eagle, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Red-headed Vulture, and Green Munia. Later, return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon, after lunch, set out on another exciting jeep safari to increase your chances of spotting the royal big cat - the Bengal tiger - in its natural habitat. During your afternoon safari, visit Bamni Dadar, also known as Sunset Point, a major attraction inside the park. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort in Kanha National Park.

After breakfast at the hotel, leave to Bandhavgarh National Park. Upon arrival at Bandhavgarh, check-in at your resort. Early in the morning around 05:00 AM, our driver will pick you up from your resort and take you to your permitted safari gate in Bandhavgarh for your first jeep safari. Bandhavgarh is known for having one of the highest densities of Bengal tigers in India, offering excellent chances of spotting one, and if you are lucky, you may even see a tiger in the nearby village or on the way to the safari gate. Bandhavgarh National Park is also home to around 150 species of birds, and you can spot colourful varieties such as the Bay-backed Shrike, White-eyed Buzzard, Indian Moorhen, and more. Later get back to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon, embark on another jeep safari to further enhance your chances of spotting a Bengal tiger, and also visit the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort, perched 811 meters above sea level and believed to be over 2,000 years old, featuring 39 rock-cut caves. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort in Bandhavgarh National Park.

Experience the thrill of early morning and afternoon jeep safaris in Bandhavgarh National Park, where you can engage in bird watching and track majestic tigers. The park is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including over 150 bird species and a significant tiger population. In the evening, enjoy free time to explore Agra’s vibrant markets for handicrafts and souvenirs, before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Early in the morning, visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise and admire its breathtaking beauty. Later return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Jaipur. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage site located 37 kilometers from Agra. Built in 16th century, it was once the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. Our family had a customized tour that included all three national parks for tiger safaris as well as the traditional golden triangle tour. We had 2 different drivers during the tour that picked us up at the airport or drove us to the next location. The drivers were always early, extremely friendly and helpful, and the cars were immaculate. We stayed at six different hotels that were picked out for us. They were all very nice and I would stay at them again. The guides at each location were very knowledgeable and friendly. The company itself stayed in contact with me throughout the trip to make sure I did not need anything. I would highly recommend this company. This tour was much more flexible and convenient than participating in a group tour where everyone has to keep up with a group pace.
