Day 1: Arrival in New Delhi

On arrival at the New Delhi airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city's bustling streets or wander its wide tree-lined boulevards to get your first taste of India. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Explore Delhi & Overnight Train Journey to Kalka

Start your day by exploring Delhi’s iconic landmarks. Visit the Qutub Minar, an architectural marvel and UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by the stunning Humayun's Tomb, known for its Mughal architecture and serene gardens. Next, pay your respects at Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, and drive past the impressive India Gate and the grand Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India.

After a day of sightseeing, make your way to the train station to board the Netaji Express (12311) at Subzi Mandi at 21:23 hrs. Enjoy a comfortable overnight journey as you travel to Kalka, arriving at 05:37 hrs, ready for the next leg of your Himalayan adventure.

Day 3: Journey from Kalka to Shimla in Enchanting Toy Train

Arrive at Kalka Railway Station around 3:00 AM and disembark from the train. Early in the morning, board the historic Shivalk Deluxe Express (52451), departing at 05:45 for a scenic journey to Shimla. As the train winds its way through the lush Himalayan foothills, you'll enjoy stunning vistas of verdant landscapes, picturesque mountain trails, and charming hill stations, making this ride a highlight of your adventure.

Upon arrival at Shimla Railway Station at 10:50 AM, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel in Shimla. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the enchanting hill station or simply relaxing in the comfort of your hotel. Enjoy the crisp mountain air and the serene beauty of Shimla as you settle in for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Shimla Local Sightseeing & Kufri Visit

After breakfast at the hotel, head to Jakhoo Temple, an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Hanuman, perched on Shimla's highest peak, Jakhoo Hill, at 2,455 meters. Enjoy panoramic views and explore this historic site. Next, proceed to Kufri, renowned for its stunning snow-covered peaks and ski slopes. Experience a delightful yak ride and take in the breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, return to Shimla for local sightseeing, including visits to Lakkar Bazaar, Scandal Point, the Ridge, Viceregal Lodge, Christ Church, and Mall Road. Day 5: Shimla / Kalka (Toy Train) - New Delhi (By Train)

Begin your day with a final exploration of Shimla before boarding the Kalka-Shimla Express (52451). Enjoy a scenic toy train ride from Shimla to Kalka, taking in the stunning vistas of the Himalayan foothills. Upon arrival in Kalka, transfer to your train bound for New Delhi.

Arrive in New Delhi and be warmly greeted at the station. You will be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and unwind after your journey. Enjoy a restful overnight stay, reflecting on the highlights of your memorable trip.

Day 6: New Delhi - Agra (220 kms/4 hrs drive)

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, depart for Agra, the city renowned for the iconic Taj Mahal. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to rest and relax. In the afternoon, visit the exquisite Itmad-ud-Daulah and the majestic Agra Fort. Spend the evening exploring the local markets, where you can shop for unique handicrafts and souvenirs. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (240 kms/5 hrs drive)

Early morning before sunrise our tour guide will pick you from your hotel and take you for a guided tour of the Taj Mahal and Mehtab Bagh. Later return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Jaipur. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Akbar in the late 16th century. After sightseeing at Fatehpur Sikri, proceed to Jaipur for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Exploring Jaipur

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a comprehensive guided tour of Jaipur. Begin your exploration with Rajasthan's iconic attraction, the "Amber Fort and Palace," a UNESCO World Heritage Site constructed by Raja Man Singh in 1592 using red sandstone and marble. This majestic fort complex is perched atop a hill, offering panoramic views of Maota Lake and the surrounding landscapes. Explore its extensive palace sections and intricate architecture, which blend seamlessly with the natural terrain.
