Hotel Description

Mahua Kothi is a Taj Safari lodge located close to the Tala gate of Bandhavgarh National Park, the zone known for the highest tiger sighting record in the reserve. Spread across 45 acres, the property keeps only about 5 acres for guest cottages and dining spaces, leaving the rest of the land wild and untouched, so guests feel like they are staying inside a real forest rather than a resort.

The lodge has just 12 luxury mud cottages, called kutiyas, built using natural material and designed around the existing trees on the property instead of clearing them. Each cottage opens into a private courtyard for added privacy and quiet.

Mahua Kothi is known for its in house wildlife naturalist team, who bring years of ground experience tracking tigers in Bandhavgarh and add real depth to every safari. The lodge is a nature retreat first, built for travelers who want closeness to the wild along with comfort and personal service.
