The current entry fees stand at INR 150 per person for Indians and INR 600 per person for foreign passport holders, valid for three days. Once equipped with the entry pass, cross the age-old bridge over the Pushpawati River and commence your trek to behold the unparalleled beauty of the valley. The journey is a tapestry of natural flora and fauna, offering a captivating display of biodiversity. Approximately 2 kilometers into the trek, you'll enter the U-shaped valley, and after another mild 1-kilometer trek, you'll find yourself immersed in a self-sustained realm adorned with over 500 species of flowers. Embark on an early morning adventure with a trek to Hemkunt Sahib, aiming to start as promptly as possible. The journey, although challenging, unfolds against a backdrop of breathtaking beauty. Ascending for approximately four to five hours, you'll find yourself at the renowned 'Hemkunt Sahib,' standing as the world's highest Gurudwara. Upon arrival, partake in a purifying dip in the half-frozen Hemkund, seek blessings at the Gurudwara, and engage in the spiritually enriching experience of partaking in the Langar. Explore the cultural heritage further by visiting the Laxman Temple, a rare sanctuary dedicated to Laxman Ji. Absorb the tranquility and historical significance of this sacred site. Depart from Hemkunt Sahib before 2 PM, initiating a trek back to Ghangharia. The day begins with an early morning trek after breakfast, descending 10 kilometres to reach Govind Ghat in approximately 4-5 hours. From there, proceed to Rishikesh by vehicle, and upon arrival, seamlessly check-in to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After a leisurely morning and breakfast, our driver will transfer you to your hotel in New Delhi or to the New Delhi airport for onward journey.

- Natural Calamities: The tour does not cover unforeseen events such as natural calamities, landslides, or any disruptions to the itinerary caused by factors beyond human control.
- Climate Adaptation: Travelers are responsible for adapting to the climate and altitude conditions during the trek, including acclimatization.
- Additional Tours/Activities: Optional tours or activities not explicitly mentioned in the itinerary are excluded.
- Expenses Due to Unforeseen Circumstances: Expenses incurred due to delays, changes in the itinerary, or circumstances beyond the control of the tour organizers to be borne by the traveller.

- Air conditioning would not be effective in Car while traveling in hilly areas.
- Once helicopter tickets are confirmed, the company is not responsible for any discrepancies or issues from the helicopter provider, such as cancellations due to bad weather.
- Any extra expenses not included in the planned itinerary will be the client's responsibility. This includes costs for medical issues, additional meals during the journey, accommodations other than those booked, or any other expenses not mentioned in the itinerary.
- As per government regulations, please present a photo identity document such as a Driving License, Voter ID Card, or Passport to get the Uttarakhand traveller's permit, entry ticket to the Valley of Flowers, and hotel check-in.
- Travelers who choose to hire pitthus or ponies during their journey will need to cover these additional expenses directly with the local service provider on the spot.
- Ponies are not available for the trek to the Valley of Flowers due to the rugged terrain. However, human porters (Pitthus) can be hired on the spot if needed.
- The trek to Ghangaria and Hemkund Sahib is challenging, so it’s advisable to begin training with soft trekking at least six months in advance. However, ponies and pitthus are available for hire along the trek for those who need assistance.
- Pack light woolens from May to August and heavier woolens from September to November. Additionally, bring a raincoat or poncho to prepare for any unexpected rain.
- At GovindGhat and Ghangaria, only budget hotels are available. Due to the remote location, where sanitary and food items are transported via ponies, some supplies may run out at these hotels. The company cannot be held responsible for such shortages or the unavailability of items, or for any issues such as electricity or water disruptions within the hotel premises
- During the trek from GovindGhat to Ghangaria, phone signals and internet connectivity are unavailable. However, both services can be accessed in Ghangaria. Please be aware that unexpected technical issues may occasionally disrupt internet and phone signals for several hours or even months, so it’s advisable to prepare accordingly.
- For easy communication on the go, consider downloading WhatsApp, as it is widely used in India.
- Transportation is provided according to the itinerary only and is not available on a disposal or point-to-point basis.
- Any costs arising from natural calamities such as landslides, road blockages, political disturbances (e.g., strikes), etc., are to be borne by the client and paid directly on the spot. We will not be held liable for any refunds or compensation claims resulting from these circumstances.
- Alkof Holidays reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any time due to reasons including, but not limited to, Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic issues, landslide etc. While we will make every effort to arrange suitable alternatives, we cannot be held liable for any refunds or compensation claims arising from these changes.

Payment Terms
A deposit of 10% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 60 days prior tour starting date. For any bookings within 60 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.
