Itinerary
Upon arrival at Thanjavur or Tiruchirappalli International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Thanjavur. After check-in and some rest, visit the Brihadeeswarar Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by the Chola king Rajaraja I in the 11th century. This grand temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is renowned for its towering vimana, intricate carvings, and remarkable architectural precision, reflecting the brilliance of Chola craftsmanship. In the evening, explore local markets and enjoy traditional Tamil cuisine. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Gangaikonda Cholapuram to visit the Gangaikondacholisvaram Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Rajendra Chola I. The temple is known for its elegant architecture, detailed sculptures, and historical significance as a symbol of the Chola Empire’s expansion. After sightseeing, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Rajarajesvaram Museum. Later, return to Thanjavur for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Darasuram to visit the Airavatesvara Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its intricate stone carvings and Chola architecture. Spend time exploring the temple complex and the surrounding town, known for its cultural heritage. Later, return to Thanjavur. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast or earlier as per your flight schedule, our driver will transfer you to Tiruchirappalli International Airport or railway station for your onward journey.

Payment Terms
A deposit of 10% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 30 days prior tour starting date. For any bookings within 30 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.
Cancellation
