The best time to visit Tamil Nadu is October to March when temperatures are more comfortable for temple visits and sightseeing. This period avoids the intense summer heat from April to June and the northeast monsoon from October to December that affects the coastal areas. The weather remains pleasant for exploring cities like Chennai, Madurai, and hill stations like Ooty.

The Chola temples are called "Great Living Temples" because they have been in continuous use for religious worship and cultural activities since their construction over a millennium ago. Unlike many ancient structures that have fallen into disuse or ruin, these temples remain vibrant centers of Hindu worship, maintaining their religious and cultural significance. They are living monuments that not only showcase the architectural and artistic brilliance of the Chola dynasty but also serve as active, thriving places of devotion and community gatherings, preserving the traditions and practices of South Indian Hinduism through the centuries.

Karnataka covers diverse regions from ancient temple cities to coffee plantations and coastal areas. Most tours combine Mysore with its palace and Hampi with its UNESCO World Heritage ruins. Bangalore serves as the entry point for many itineraries. Coorg offers hill station landscapes with coffee estates. The coastal stretch includes Gokarna and Mangalore. Wildlife enthusiasts visit Bandipur and Nagarhole national parks. Temple architecture enthusiasts often include Belur and Halebidu. Many packages link Karnataka with Kerala or Goa for varied experiences.

The best time to visit the backwaters of Alleppey is from October to March, when the weather is pleasant and ideal for a houseboat cruise. During these months, the climate is comfortable and the backwaters are calm, making it perfect for a relaxing and scenic experience.
