Sacred North India Tour - Mathura, Vrindavan, Ayodhya, and Varanasi

Today, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi, a city with a rich history dating back to the 6th century BC. Begin your tour at Rajghat, the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Next, visit Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan. Experience the vibrant atmosphere with a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi's busiest market. Drive past the Presidential House and India Gate in Edwin Lutyen's Delhi. Explore Humayun's Tomb, built in 1562 by his wife, Hamida Banu Begum. Conclude your day with a visit to the Qutab Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret, commissioned by Qutbuddin Aibak. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Mathura by road. Upon arrival, delve into the spiritual heritage of Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Visit Sri Krishna Janma Bhoomi, the revered site of Krishna's birth, and explore the 25 ghats along the Yamuna River, with Vishram Ghat being particularly sacred. Discover the Dwarkadheesh Temple, a central place of worship for devotees, and visit other notable sites like the Gita Mandir and Radha Kund. Next, head to Vrindavan, just 10 kilometres from Mathura, where Lord Krishna is believed to have spent his childhood. After checking in at your hotel in Vrindavan, take time to visit the renowned Banke Bihari Temple and the beautifully crafted Prem Mandir. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at the hotel in Vrindavan.

Please Note: Due to traffic police restrictions, cars will be parked 1 km away from the Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan. Travellers will need to hire rickshaw or tuktuk to reach the temple and other sites. The cost of the local rickshaw or tuktuk ride is to be borne by the travellers.

After breakfast at the hotel, visit Nidhi Van, known as the "Forest of Tulsi." This sacred site is deeply revered and steeped in spiritual significance. Also visit Madan Mohan Temple, Sri Radha Raman, and Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir. Enjoy some free time in Vrindavan, later by 3.00 PM leave for Agra - the Land of the Taj Mahal. Early in the morning, before sunrise, your tour guide will pick you up from the hotel for a guided visit to the iconic Taj Mahal and the serene Mehtab Bagh. After the tour, return to the hotel for a delightful breakfast. Following breakfast, set out for a full day of exploration in Agra. Visit the exquisite Itmad-ud-Daulah and the grand Agra Fort. In the evening, enjoy some leisure time to shop for local handicrafts and souvenirs in Agra’s bustling markets. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Agra to Lucknow. Upon arrival in Lucknow, check in to your hotel. Later begin exploring the city’s iconic landmarks: the grand Bara Imambara with its famous Bhool Bhulaiya, the beautiful Chota Imambara, and the historic Rumi Darwaza. Dive into history at The Residency, a relic of the 1857 uprising, and conclude with a visit to Hazratganj Market, where you can enjoy Lucknow’s unique shopping and dining scene. After a fulfilling day, return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Ayodhya. Upon arrival check-in at the hote, later head out to explore Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. Begin your sightseeing with a visit to the sacred Sarayu River, where thousands of pilgrims gather to take a holy dip. Next, visit the magnificent Shri Ram Temple, built on the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, revered as the seventh avatar of the Hindu deity Lord Vishnu. Continue to other significant sites in Ayodhya, including Hanuman Garhi Mandir, Kanak Bhawan, Sita Ki Rasoi, Dashrath Mahal, Tulsi Smarak Bhavan, and Ram Katha Sangrahalay. After lunch, arrive at Kanchan Bhawan, where you’ll begin the Mokshadayani Heritage Walk to Nageshwar Dham. After the walk, enjoy a brief boat ride on the swift-flowing Sarayu River. In the evening, participate in the Aarti Ceremony, on the banks of Sacred Saryu River. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ayodhya.

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Varanasi. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to rest. Later in the evening, attend the Aarti ceremony on the banks of the River Ganges. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Start your morning with a serene boat ride on the River Ganges, witnessing the sunrise and the spiritual activities along the ghats. Next, visit an Akhara to observe the traditional form of martial arts practiced there. Embark on a morning city tour of Varanasi, strolling through the sacred ghats and immersing yourself in the vibrant atmosphere. Visit the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple, also known as the Golden Temple, and pay homage at the Bharat Mata Mandir, a unique temple dedicated to Mother India. Later, proceed to Sarnath, a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site. Explore the Dhamekha Stupa, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon, and visit the Archaeological Museum to view ancient artifacts. Continue to the Chaukhandi Stupa, an important historical monument. Overnight stay at the hotel in Varanasi.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you to Varanasi airport to board a flight to New Delhi. Upon arrival at New Delhi airport, our local representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in New Delhi.

In the morning, we will transfer you to IGI Airport, New Delhi for your journey home or onward journey.
