On arrival at Bhopal Airport, our local representative will warmly welcome you and take you directly to Satpura Tiger Reserve. Satpura Tiger Reserve is renowned for its diverse attractions, drawing tourists, pilgrims, scientists, and sociologists alike to its natural beauty and biodiversity. Upon reaching the reserve, settle into your resort accommodation. The remainder of the day is yours to unwind and enjoy at your leisure. Overnight, relax and rejuvenate at the resort, surrounded by the tranquil environment of Satpura Tiger Reserve.
Prepare for an unforgettable day with two jeep safaris in the picturesque Satpura Tiger Reserve - one at dawn and another in the late afternoon. This sanctuary boasts a wealth of wildlife, from the majestic Indian Giant Squirrel and elegant Spotted Deer to the powerful Indian Bison (Gaur) and elusive Tigers. You may also encounter Leopards, Wild Boar, Dholes (Wild Dogs), Sloth Bears, Black Bucks, Porcupines, Sambhars, Chowsinghas (Four-Horned Antelopes), Smooth Otters, Pangolins, and even Marsh Crocodiles. Upon arrival in Pachmarhi, begin your journey with a visit to the spectacular Bee Falls. Marvel at the breathtaking cascade of water plunging into a tranquil pool below. Take a moment to soak in the serene ambiance and capture memorable photos of this natural marvel. Continue your exploration with a visit to Jata Shankar, a sacred cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Admire the unique rock formations inside the cave and experience the spiritual aura surrounding this revered site. Around 1:00 PM, indulge in a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, savoring the flavors of traditional cuisine.
After lunch, proceed to Handi Khoh, a magnificent gorge renowned for its panoramic views and rugged beauty. Stand in awe as you gaze into the deep abyss carved by the Narmada River over centuries. Later, ascend to Dhoopgarh, the highest point in the Satpura range, to witness a mesmerizing sunset. Climb to the summit and behold the breathtaking vista stretching as far as the eye can see. As dusk falls, begin your journey back to Satpura, cherishing the memories of your enriching day trip to Pachmarhi. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the resort in Satpura National Park.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jabalpur. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, set out to explore Bhedaghat, famous for its magnificent marble rocks. Visit the spectacular Dhuandhar Waterfall and witness the stunning cascade of the Narmada River. Continue to the Chaunsath Yogini Temple, an ancient shrine adorned with 64 Yogini statues, followed by the revered Tripur Sundari Temple dedicated to Goddess Tripur Sundari. Conclude your sightseeing at the Kachnar City Shiva Temple, renowned for its impressive statue of Lord Shiva. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jabalpur.
After breakfast at the resort, leave for Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandhavgarh National Park was the hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Rewa, the park is also famous for its tiger population. Upon arrival at Bandhavgarh, check-in at your resort. Rest of the day at leisure or indulge yourself in leisure activities such as taking a walk in the nearby area, enjoying the lush greenery around and so on. Enjoy early morning and afternoon jeep safari's inside the national park to enjoy bird watching along with tiger–tracking. Bandhavgarh national park is known for being home to as many as 150 avifauna species. You can spot a number of colourful birds such as Bay Backed Shrike, White Eyed Buzzard, Indian Moorhen, Olive Backed Pipit, Black Headed Oriole, Yellow Crowned Woodpecker, Barred Button Quail, White Browed Fantail Flycatcher, Rose Ringed Parakeet, Alexandrine Parakeet and more. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort in Bandhavgarh National Park.

- Safari access to specific zones is subject to availability. To secure your preferred safari bookings in your desired zones, we recommend booking your tours at least 90 days in advance. To book your safari, we require a clear photo of the traveler's passport, as mandated by the forest department.
- Once safaris are confirmed, the safari fees are non-refundable. Please carry your original valid passport or ID proof to present at the entry gate for safaris.
- The core zones for safaris in Satpura Tiger Reserve and Bandhavgarh National Park remain closed every Wednesday. Please plan accordingly.
- For easy communication on the go, consider downloading WhatsApp, as it is widely used in India.
- Transportation is provided according to the itinerary only and is not available on a disposal or point-to-point basis.
- Tipping in India is not compulsory, it is optional but appreciated. A small gratuity is expected in some cases; tip generously for exceptional service. The amount can range from $2, $5, $10 per day, or more, depending on satisfaction and the quality of service received.

Having WhatsApp and an eSIM was very helpful, and any questions we had were answered quickly. Internal flights, boarding passes, and transfers were all clearly organized. Our focus was wildlife, but we were also very happy with the accommodation throughout the trip. We stayed at Kavish Gir Lion Resort and Aranyak Resorts near Kanha and Bandhavgarh. The rooms were spacious, the food was excellent, and the staff were always welcoming. Be prepared for some long road journeys and flights, but they are all part of the adventure. We appreciated arriving at the national park gates early each morning, as the cooler hours provided the best wildlife viewing opportunities. The wildlife sightings exceeded all expectations. At Gir National Park, we saw an incredible 26 Asiatic lions, including cubs, along with jackals, mongoose, wild boar, and many beautiful bird species. At Bandhavgarh, we were fortunate to spot six tigers, as well as Indian gaur, owls, hornbills, eagles, and vultures. One of the most memorable moments was watching a magnificent tiger slowly cross the road directly in front of our safari vehicle. Alkof Holidays and India made this trip truly unforgettable. We highly recommend Alkof Holidays to wildlife lovers and would happily travel with them again. A few tips for future travelers: bring binoculars, a good camera, and some extra tissues or toilet paper. We were also advised that mobile phones are not permitted during safaris in India's national parks, which was not an issue for us as keen photographers.
