On arrival at Cochin International Airport, an Alkof Holidays representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to Munnar, the crown jewel of Kerala. As you journey through scenic landscapes, breathe in the crisp mountain air and soak in the breathtaking views. Upon reaching Munnar, check into your hotel and unwind in its cozy ambiance. Get ready to experience the enchanting beauty of this hill station before settling in for an overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, set out to explore the captivating sights of Munnar, nestled at the confluence of three mountain streams—Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundale—at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level. Once the summer retreat of the British government in South India, Munnar is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and tranquil charm. Begin the day with visits to Mattuppetty Dam, Kundale Lake, and Echo Point, where you can immerse yourself in the serenity of nature. In the afternoon, head to Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park), home to the rare Nilgiri Tahr, a unique mountain goat species found in this region. Take in the beauty of rolling tea plantations and lush green hills before concluding the day with an overnight stay in Munnar, surrounded by its peaceful ambiance.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Periyar, a picturesque retreat ideal for relaxation. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and take some time to unwind. After a refreshing breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. Upon arrival, embark on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise aboard a traditionally decorated houseboat. As you drift along the serene waterways, take in picturesque sights—Chinese fishing nets, vast paddy fields, locals crafting coir products, rustic homes, ancient temples, and swaying coconut groves. In the morning, our driver will transfer you to Cochin Airport for onward journey.
