Itinerary
Upon arrival at Bangalore International Airport, an Alkof Holidays representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy a leisurely walk through its lush parks, visit local markets, and sample delicious cuisine at nearby restaurants. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bangalore.
After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Bangalore, known as the Garden City of India. Begin with a visit to Lalbagh Botanical Garden, a sprawling 240-acre park famous for its rare plant species, historic glasshouse, and serene lake. Continue to Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, a beautiful example of Indo-Islamic architecture that once served as the summer residence of Tipu Sultan. Later, visit Cubbon Park, a green oasis in the heart of the city, and admire the grand Vidhana Soudha from the outside, an iconic legislative building known for its impressive architecture. Proceed to Bangalore Palace, a royal residence inspired by England’s Windsor Castle, followed by a visit to the ISKCON Temple at Hare Krishna Hill, renowned for its spiritual ambiance. In the evening, visit the Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple, a unique rock-cut temple famous for its stone discs and the natural sunlight phenomenon seen on specific days of the year. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Mysore. En route, stop at Shri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangapatna, an important pilgrimage site admired for its historical significance and grand Dravidian-style architecture. Later, continue your drive to Mysore. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, visit Mysuru Palace, the former royal residence of the Wodeyar dynasty, admired for its grand architecture and historic Durbar Hall. Next, visit to the Kesava Temple in Somnathpur, renowned for its exquisite Hoysala architecture. Continue to St. Philomena’s Church, an impressive Gothic-style church and one of the largest churches in India. After sightseeing, return to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Hassan, known for its beautiful ancient temples. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Later, proceed for sightseeing in Hassan, Belur, and Halebidu. Visit the Buceshvara Temple in Hassan, followed by the famous Chennakeshava Temple in Belur, known for its fine carvings. Continue to Halebidu to explore the Hoysaleshwara and Kedareshwara Temples, both admired for their detailed Hoysala architecture. After sightseeing, return to your hotel in Hassan for an overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Bengaluru. On the way, visit Shravanbelagola, a famous Jain pilgrimage site known for the towering statue of Lord Gomateshvara (Bahubali). After sightseeing, continue your journey to Bengaluru. On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Bengaluru.
After breakfast or earlier as per your flight schedule, our driver will transfer you to Bangalore Airport to board a flight to Goa. Upon arrival at Goa Airport, our local driver will meet you and transfer you to your resort. The rest of the day is at leisure; you may choose to stroll along nearby beaches or visit one of the popular beach shacks to savour the local cuisine. Overnight stay at the resort.
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, set out to explore some of Goa's famous churches. These churches are known not only for their spiritual significance but also for their stunning architecture. Key ones to visit include St. Cathedral, Bom Jesus Basilica, the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, the Church of St. Francis of Assissi, and the Church of St. Catejan. Later, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the Mandovi River and take some time to explore Panaji, Goa’s charming capital. Overnight stay at the hotel.
