Day 1: Arrive in Bangalore

Upon arrival at Bangalore International Airport, an Alkof Holidays representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy a leisurely walk through its lush parks, visit local markets, and sample delicious cuisine at nearby restaurants. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bangalore.

Day 2: Exploring Bangalore

After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Bangalore, known as the Garden City of India. Begin with a visit to Lalbagh Botanical Garden, a sprawling 240-acre park famous for its rare plant species, historic glasshouse, and serene lake. Continue to Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, a beautiful example of Indo-Islamic architecture that once served as the summer residence of Tipu Sultan. Later, visit Cubbon Park, a green oasis in the heart of the city, and admire the grand Vidhana Soudha from the outside, an iconic legislative building known for its impressive architecture. Day 5: Mysore - Ooty (130 kms/3.5 hrs drive)

Enjoy a picturesque journey through forests, tea plantations, and winding mountain roads. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax after the drive. Day 6: Exploring Ooty

Early in the morning, enjoy a ride on the famous Nilgiri Toy Train (subject to availability), a UNESCO World Heritage mountain railway offering stunning views of hills, valleys, tunnels, and lush tea gardens. After the train ride, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, proceed to visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri Hills, followed by a visit to Ooty Lake, where you may relax or enjoy a boat ride.
