Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Khajuraho Airport, an Alkof Holidays representative will warmly welcome you before you embark on a scenic drive to Panna National Park, located about 45 kilometers from Khajuraho. A haven for wildlife enthusiasts, Panna is home to diverse flora and fauna, including the majestic Bengal tiger.
On your arrival at Panna National Park, check into your wildlife resort and savor a scrumptious lunch. Later in the afternoon, it's time for your first private jeep safari in Panna National Park. You will be accompanied by an experienced naturalist who will help you spot the park's diverse wildlife, including tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and numerous bird species. Later in the evening, return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.
Early in the morning around 5.30 AM, head-out for a private jeep safari in Panna National Park under the guidance of a wildlife naturalist. Each safari offers a unique opportunity to explore different parts of the park and encounter its vibrant wildlife. Apart from the wildlife, the park is home to the gorgeous landscape, which endows many photography enthusiasts to capture some stunning shots. During the game drive, you can spot several animal such as royal tigers, leopard, cheetahs, wolf, wild dog, hyena, caracal, sloth bears, chinkaras, and sambhar. The park is also famous for 8 Species of vultures, and crocodiles, that can be spotted in Ken river. Besides exploring the rich flora and fauna at Panna National Park, also visit the famous Pandav Fall.
Return to your lodge for lunch and some leisure time. Later in the afternoon, set out for your final private jeep safari. This is your last chance to capture those perfect wildlife photographs or enjoy the serene beauty of the park. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort in Panna National Park.
After breakfast at the resort, drive to Khajuraho. Upon arrival, start your exploration at the awe-inspiring Western Group of Temples, the crown jewels of Khajuraho. Built between 950 and 1050 AD by the Chandela dynasty, these temples are a testament to ancient India's artistic and architectural brilliance. The Kandariya Mahadev Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is the most prominent structure, with its intricately carved spires and ornate sculptures.
As you wander through the temple complex, you'll be captivated by the exquisite stone carvings depicting divine deities, mythical creatures, everyday life, and celestial beings. The erotic sculptures, often misunderstood, celebrate life and spiritual enlightenment, reflecting the era's liberal artistic expression. The temple complex offers a glimpse into ancient India’s spiritual and cultural ethos, and as the sun sets, the temples glow with a golden hue, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere for reflection and awe. Later in the afternoon visit the Eastern Group of Temples in Khajuraho. These temples, known for their exquisite Jain architecture and serene surroundings, offer a captivating glimpse into the spiritual heritage of the region. Overnight stay at the hotel in Khajuraho.
After a delightful breakfast at the hotel, depart for Orchha, a town rich in history and charm. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and freshen up before heading out to explore the historical gems of Orchha, once the capital of the Bundela Rajputs. Visit Jahangir Mahal, Raja Mahal, Phool Bagh, Dinman Hardaul Palace, and Sunder Mahal. Be sure to experience the stunning Ram Raja Temple and Chaturbhuj Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel in Orchha.

- Safari access to specific zones is subject to availability. To secure your preferred safari bookings in your desired zones, we recommend booking your tours at least 90 days in advance. To book your safari, we require a clear photo of the traveler's passport, as mandated by the forest department.
- Once safaris are confirmed, the safari fees are non-refundable.
- Please carry your original valid passport or ID proof to present at the entry gate for safaris.
- Consider wearing light and breathable fabrics in neutral colors (avoiding bright colors) and layering for temperature changes. Opt for sturdy, comfortable walking shoes, and bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, and light snacks for the journey.
- Special Note: Please respect wildlife and their natural habitats during your safari. Maintain a safe distance, avoid loud noises, and follow all guidelines provided by your guides. Your cooperation helps protect these incredible animals and ensures a positive experience for everyone.
