Upon arrival at Cochin International Airport, an Alkof Holidays representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Kochi. Rest and relax at the hotel, and later head-out to explore Kochi. Your sightseeing tour includes Fort Kochi, known for its colonial architecture and historic charm, Marine Drive with its picturesque waterfront, and St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. Visit the Dutch Palace, renowned for its murals and historical artifacts, and the Santa Cruz Basilica, a stunning example of Gothic architecture. Explore the serene Bolgatty Island and immerse yourself in the history at the Indo-Portuguese Museum. Return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for the tranquil town of Kumarakom. Upon arrival, check in at the resort. In the afternoon, visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, a haven for bird lovers, where you can spot a variety of species ranging from vibrant kingfishers to graceful herons and egrets. Later, enjoy a leisurely walk along the shores of Vembanad Lake, the largest lake in Kerala, and feel the gentle breeze as you take in the serene views. As the sun begins to set, embark on a scenic boat ride from the Kumarakom Boat Jetty, gliding through the calm backwaters for an iconic Kerala experience. Return to your resort in Kumarakom for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the resort, drive to Alappuzha (Alleppey), best known for houseboat cruises along the rustic Kerala backwaters, a network of tranquil canals and lagoons. Check in to your traditional houseboat around 1:00 PM and begin your enchanting overnight cruise. Enjoy a delicious lunch onboard as you glide through tranquil canals and lagoons. Marvel at the passing scenery, including Chinese fishing nets, lush paddy fields, coir-making activities, traditional homes, ancient temples, and swaying coconut groves. In the evening, you can explore the local market in Alappuzha or simply relax on the houseboat. Spend the night on the houseboat, drifting along the backwaters and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
After breakfast at the houseboat, we will transfer you to Cochin International Airport for your onward journey.
