Your Jaipur Holi Festival Tour begins with a pickup from New Delhi. Our driver will meet you at your hotel in New Delhi or at New Delhi airport and transfer you to Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax and refresh. The rest of the day is free for leisure. In the evening, explore the vibrant market of the historic walled Pink City, where traditional life continues to thrive. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the bustling streets and soak in the local ambiance. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay, ready to experience the festivities of the Holi Festival in Jaipur.
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a comprehensive guided tour of Jaipur. Begin your exploration with Rajasthan's iconic attraction, the "Amber Fort and Palace," a UNESCO World Heritage Site constructed by Raja Man Singh in 1592 using red sandstone and marble. This majestic fort complex is perched atop a hill, offering panoramic views of Maota Lake and the surrounding landscapes. Explore its extensive palace sections and intricate architecture, which blend seamlessly with the natural terrain. Following your visit to Amber Fort, continue your Jaipur sightseeing with a visit to Jal Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, and the Albert Hall Museum.
In the evening, witness Holi-ka Dahan ceremony to celebrate the victory of good over evil. Among the residents, the day is also popularly known as Choti Holi since the bigger event of playing around with the colors takes place on the next day. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, head out to celebrate the Holi Festival in a very special way in Jaipur. Holi can be celebrated either at Khasa Kothi, a specially organized venue by the Department of Tourism designed mainly for foreign tourists, or with the locals at the famous Govind Dev Ji Temple for a more authentic and traditional Holi experience. Enjoy playing with dry colors and dancing to lively Rajasthani folk music and popular Bollywood songs. After the Holi celebrations, our driver will transfer you back to your hotel in Jaipur for an overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will transfer you back to New Delhi either to your hotel or to IGI Airport, as per your preference.
