Day 1: Arrival in New Delhi

On arrival at the New Delhi airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city's bustling streets or wander its wide tree-lined boulevards to get your first taste of India. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Exploring Old & New Delhi

Today, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi, a city with a rich history dating back to the 6th century BC. Begin your tour at Rajghat, the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Next, visit Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan. Experience the vibrant atmosphere with a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi's busiest market. Drive past the Presidential House and India Gate in Edwin Lutyen's Delhi. Explore Humayun's Tomb, built in 1562 by his wife, Hamida Banu Begum. Conclude your day with a visit to the Qutab Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret, commissioned by Qutbuddin Aibak. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: New Delhi - Agra (220 kms/4 hrs drive)

After breakfast at your hotel, leave for Agra. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the beautiful Itmad-ud-Daulah and the grand Agra Fort. Later, head to Mehtab Bagh, located across from the Taj Mahal, to admire a stunning sunset view of the monument. Afterward, explore marble inlay workshops and enjoy shopping in Agra’s vibrant markets. Overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.

Day 4: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (240 kms / 5 hrs drive)

Early in the morning, visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise and admire its breathtaking beauty. Later return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Jaipur. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage site located 37 kilometers from Agra. Built in 16th century, it was once the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. After sightseeing at Fatehpur Sikri, proceed to Jaipur for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Exploring Jaipur

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a comprehensive guided tour of Jaipur. Begin your exploration with Rajasthan's iconic attraction, the "Amber Fort and Palace," a UNESCO World Heritage Site constructed by Raja Man Singh in 1592 using red sandstone and marble. This majestic fort complex is perched atop a hill, offering panoramic views of Maota Lake and the surrounding landscapes. Explore its extensive palace sections and intricate architecture, which blend seamlessly with the natural terrain. Following your visit to Amber Fort, continue your Jaipur sightseeing with a visit to Jal Mahal, the serene Water Palace situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.

Proceed to City Palace, a magnificent blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture that houses museums showcasing royal artifacts. Next, visit Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh II, featuring impressive instruments designed for accurate celestial observations. Day 6: Jaipur/Delhi (275 Km/5.30 hrs drive) - Aurangabad (By Flight)

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, leave for New Delhi Airport for your flight to Aurangabad. Upon arrival at Aurangabad Airport, our local driver will receive you, and transfer you to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 7: Exploring Ellora Caves and Daulatabad Fort

After breakfast at the hotel, set out to explore the Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring an extraordinary collection of Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain rock-cut temples, including the magnificent Kailasa Temple. Next, visit Daulatabad Fort, a formidable medieval fortress renowned for its strategic defenses and breathtaking panoramic views. After sightseeing, we will transfer you to your hotel in Aurangabad for an overnight stay.

Please Note: The Ellora Caves are closed every Tuesday. If you start you tour on Tuesday, we will explore Ajanta Caves, instead of Ellora Caves.

Day 8: Explore Ajanta Caves and Bibi Ka Maqbara (Baby Taj) - Mumbai (By Flight)

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visit the Ajanta Caves, another UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its ancient Buddhist murals and intricate sculptures. After exploring the caves, we will drive to Bibi Ka Maqbara, often referred to as the 'Baby Taj' due to its resemblance to the Taj Mahal.

Later in the afternoon, we will transfer you to Aurangabad Airport to board a flight to Mumbai. Upon your arrival at Mumbai Airport, our local driver will receive you and transfer you to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Please Note: The Ajanta Caves remains closed on every Monday. If you start you tour on Monday, we will explore Ellora Caves, instead of Ajanta Caves.

Day 9: Exploring Mumbai

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, get ready for an exciting guided tour of Mumbai, famously known as "The City that Never Sleeps." Start your adventure at the iconic Gateway of India, perfect for a memorable photo shoot and some sightseeing. Next, explore the Prince of Wales Museum, where you'll discover fascinating artifacts from the Indus Valley civilization. Continue your journey to Mani Bhavan, a poignant memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, offering insights into his life and legacy. The tour then takes you to several of Mumbai's most popular spots, including the scenic Marine Drive, the lush Hanging Gardens, and the vibrant Juhu Chowpatty Beach.
