The best time to visit Aurangabad is from October to March when the weather is cool and pleasant, ideal for exploring the Ajanta and Ellora Caves, Daulatabad Fort, and other historical sites. These months offer comfortable temperatures, making sightseeing enjoyable. It's best to avoid visiting during the peak summer months of April to June as temperatures can rise above 40°C (104°F), making outdoor activities challenging. Additionally, July to September sees monsoon rains, which can hinder travel plans and may lead to site closures due to heavy rainfall.
