During your safaris in Kabini Wildlife Sanctuary, you may spot the rare black panther, leopards, otters, large herds of Asian elephants, wild dogs (dholes), sloth bears, Indian bison (gaur), sambar, chital, jackals, and a wide range of other wildlife species. The journey is also ideal for birdwatching in India, with opportunities to spot King Vulture (Red-headed Vulture), hornbills, eagles, crested hawk eagles, kingfishers, rollers, parakeets, and several migratory birds, along with reptiles such as crocodiles, monitor lizards, and snakes. Overall, this tour delivers a complete Indian wildlife safari beyond tiger sightings, making it perfect for nature lovers, wildlife photographers, and conservation-minded travelers.
No tiger sighting is ever 100% guaranteed as these are wild animals in their natural habitat. However, visiting high-density parks like Pench or Tadoba during the dry summer months (March–June) significantly increases your chances.
Yes, the Wildlife Journey Beyond Just Tigers tour is very well suited for birdwatchers, as it covers diverse habitats across Kabini, Tadoba, Pench, and Satpura National Parks, each known for rich and varied birdlife. Travelers can spot a wide range of resident and migratory bird species, including hornbills, eagles, crested hawk eagles, kingfishers, rollers, parakeets, owls, and forest birds, along with wetland species near rivers and lakes. With changing landscapes such as riverine forests, grasslands, and dense woodlands, this tour offers excellent opportunities for bird photography and birdwatching alongside larger wildlife, making it an ideal choice for nature lovers and serious birding enthusiasts.
The best time to go on a wildlife safari typically falls between October and June, when weather conditions are favorable and wildlife sightings are more frequent in many prime habitats. The cooler months from October to February offer pleasant temperatures and excellent overall travel conditions, while the warmer period from March to June often improves sightings as animals gather near water sources. Choosing the right season based on your destination can greatly enhance your safari experience.
No, the national parks on this wildlife journey are not open year-round. Most national parks in India, including Kabini, Tadoba, Pench, and Satpura, are generally open from October to June and remain closed during the monsoon season (usually July to September) to allow the forests to regenerate and for safety reasons.
Safaris on this wildlife journey are conducted in government-approved vehicles and strictly follow forest department regulations. In Kabini Wildlife Sanctuary, safaris are arranged on a shared basis, either by canter or jeep, depending on availability. In Tadoba, Pench, and Satpura National Parks, safaris are conducted in open private jeeps (Gypsys) for small groups of up to six guests per vehicle. For larger groups, multiple jeeps are provided to ensure comfort, better wildlife viewing, and compliance with park rules, offering a safe and immersive safari experience throughout the journey.

A representative will meet you at your specified location - whether at the airport, railway station, or your hotel - to ensure a smooth transfer, allowing you to begin your journey comfortably and stress-free.
