Rest and relax at the hotel, and later head-out to explore Kochi. Your sightseeing tour includes Fort Kochi, known for its colonial architecture and historic charm; Marine Drive, with its picturesque waterfront; and St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. Visit the Dutch Palace, renowned for its murals and historical artifacts, as well as the Santa Cruz Basilica, a stunning example of Gothic architecture. Discover the serene Bolgatty Island and delve into history at the Indo-Portuguese Museum. Dinner, and overnight stay at the hotel in Kochi.
After breakfast, depart for Munnar, the picturesque hill station of Kerala. En route, visit the Kodanad Elephant Care Center, known for its elephant conservation efforts. Enjoy the stunning waterfalls and scenic landscapes along the way. Upon reaching Munnar, check in at your hotel and unwind for a relaxing overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, set out to explore the captivating sights of Munnar, nestled at the confluence of three mountain streams—Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundale—at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level. Once the summer retreat of the British government in South India, Munnar is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and tranquil charm. Begin the day with visits to Mattuppetty Dam, Kundale Lake, and Echo Point, where you can immerse yourself in the serenity of nature. In the afternoon, head to Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park), home to the rare Nilgiri Tahr, a unique mountain goat species found in this region. Take in the beauty of rolling tea plantations and lush green hills before concluding the day with an overnight stay in Munnar, surrounded by its peaceful ambiance.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Thekkady. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax for some time. Later, visit a spice plantation in Kumily, where you can learn about spices such as cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and cloves grown in the region. After breakfast, set out to explore Thekkady and Periyar National Park, located in the scenic Western Ghats. Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake, where wildlife can often be seen along the forest edges. Next, enjoy an elephant ride (available at an additional cost). During your visit to Periyar Tiger Reserve, admire the beautiful evergreen forests and watch for wildlife such as elephants, sambar deer, Indian bison, and various bird species. After breakfast at the resort, drive to Alappuzha (Alleppey), famous for its houseboat cruises through the serene Kerala backwaters. Around 12:00 PM, check in to your traditional houseboat and begin your overnight cruise. Enjoy lunch onboard as you glide through peaceful canals and lagoons, passing lush paddy fields, coconut groves, village homes, temples, and scenes of daily backwater life. In the evening, relax on the houseboat and enjoy the calm surroundings as it anchors for the night. Dinner and overnight stay on the houseboat.
After breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and drive to Mararikulam. Upon arrival, check in at the resort and relax. The rest of the day is free to unwind—take a leisurely walk along the golden sands of Marari Beach, enjoy the peaceful coastal atmosphere, or make use of the resort’s amenities.
