On your arrival at Varanasi Airport or railway station, an Alkof Holidays representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Start your day early around 5:00 AM with a peaceful boat ride on the River Ganges. Watch the beautiful sunrise and see the morning prayers and spiritual life along the famous ghats. After the boat ride, enjoy a guided walk through the old city of Varanasi, exploring the sacred ghats and lively local atmosphere. Visit the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, also known as the Golden Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples in India. You will also visit Bharat Mata Mandir, a unique temple dedicated to Mother India. Return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, drive to Sarnath, one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world. Visit the Dhamekha Stupa, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon, and explore the Archaeological Museum with ancient Buddhist relics. Continue to the Chaukhandi Stupa, an important historical monument. In the evening, attend the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti on the banks of the River Ganges. After the ceremony, return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Prayagraj, formerly known as Allahabad. Upon arrival, visit the sacred Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. Enjoy a boat ride to the meeting point of the rivers, an important pilgrimage site where devotees take a holy dip. Continue to Bade Hanuman Ji Temple, known for its reclining idol of Lord Hanuman. If time permits, visit Allahabad Fort, built by Emperor Akbar, and Anand Bhavan, the ancestral home of the Nehru family. Later in the evening, return to Varanasi for an overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast or earlier as per your flight or train timing, our driver will transfer you to Varanasi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
