In the early morning, around 5:30 AM, an Alkof Holidays representative will pick you up from your hotel in Chennai and transfer you to Tirupati. During the journey, a stop will be made at a comfortable, air-conditioned restaurant for breakfast.
You will arrive in Tirupati around 10:00 AM. Upon arrival, you have the option to participate in the practice of Tonsure or Mottai, which involves cutting or shaving some or all of your hair on the scalp as a sign of religious devotion. Following this, proceed to the Tirupati Balaji Temple to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara. This ancient and sacred temple, located at the base of the Tirumala Hills, is a major pilgrimage site and offers a glimpse into the fervent devotion of its visitors. The temple, situated in a picturesque setting across seven hills, is renowned for its long queues of devotees, and the offerings of coins, jewelry, and hair.
After your darshan, visit the Padmavathi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Padmavathi (also known as Alamelumanga), the consort of Lord Venkateshwara. In the evening, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Chennai.
