Upon arrival at Coimbatore Airport, an Alkof Holidays representative will greet you and transfer you to Ooty, known as the Queen of Hill Stations. Check in at your hotel upon arrival. After some relaxation, visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiris and the fourth highest in South India. Enjoy the panoramic views and tranquility. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ooty.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, set out for an adventurous day. Begin with a visit to the famous Ooty Lake and the lush Botanical Gardens, renowned for their vibrant flora. Then, embark on a scenic drive through the winding Kalhatty Road, known for its 36 exhilarating hairpin bends. Continue your journey to Mudumalai National Park, where you’ll experience a thrilling Jeep safari. This safari will take you through diverse landscapes of the park, offering glimpses of its rich wildlife. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ooty.
After breakfast at the hotel, head to Kamaraj Sagar (Sandynalla) Reservoir and the nearby Pine Forest. This serene and picturesque dam, nestled on the slopes of the Wenlock Downs, offers a tranquil escape and stunning views. Next, visit Pykara Lake and Dam, a popular spot in Ooty known for its scenic beauty and opportunities for a delightful boat ride. Wander through Sims Park, a sprawling garden spread over 12 hectares in Upper Coonoor, renowned for its diverse plant species and tranquil ambiance. After breakfast at the hotel, set out for a visit to Kotagiri, another scenic hill station in the Nilgiris. Begin with a tour of the John Sullivan Memorial, also known as Pethakal Bungalow is a well known museum in Kotagiri, and it was originally residence of John Sullivan, which showcases a wealth of historical artifacts related to Sullivan and his family, the British influence in the Nilgiris, and local tribal traditions. Proceed to Catherine Falls, a majestic waterfall cascading from 250 feet, offering a peaceful retreat amid nature. Continue to Kodanad View Point, a prime location for panoramic views of the Nilgiri valleys. Return to Ooty in the evening, Overnight stay at the hotel in Ooty.
