Bandhavgarh and Kanha are among the leading tiger reserves in India, and four jeep safaris provide several opportunities to search for Royal Bengal tigers. However, sightings depend on weather, forest conditions, animal movement, and chance, as tigers move freely in their natural habitat.
The main safari season is from October to June. November to February offers cooler and more comfortable weather, while March to June generally provides better tiger-sighting opportunities as the forest becomes drier and animals visit water sources more often. The national parks generally remain closed during the monsoon from July to September.
The tour includes four jeep safaris. You will experience one morning and one afternoon safari in Bandhavgarh National Park, followed by one morning and one afternoon safari in Kanha National Park. All safaris are subject to permit availability and park regulations.
Yes. The tour is structured to give first-time safari travelers the best possible introduction to Indian wildlife without requiring prior safari experience. The naturalists accompanying each safari guide you on reading animal behaviour, tracking, and positioning for sightings. The itinerary is paced with rest time between parks to avoid fatigue from back-to-back travel days.
Yes. Additional safaris can be arranged at any of the national parks included in this tour.
