After breakfast, drive to Jorhat, known as the Tea Capital of India because of its large tea gardens. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, take a short walk around Garh Ali, the main market area of Jorhat. Here, you can explore local shops selling traditional North-East Indian clothes and handicrafts and buy souvenirs. After the visit, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Sivasagar, the former capital of the Ahom dynasty that ruled Assam for nearly 600 years. Visit the Tai Ahom Museum to learn about the history and culture of the Ahom rulers, followed by a visit to the Maidams of Charaideo, the royal burial grounds of the Ahom kings.
