On the day of arrival at Delhi, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to Rishikesh. Upon arrival at Rishikesh, check into the camps at Byasi 30 km ahead from Rishikesh on Badrinath Highway. In the afternoon, take a briefing at the camp of the activities and the trip to follow. In the evening, campfire would be organized. Overnight stay at the Alaknanda River Camp at Byasi.
Early morning, you can opt for hike or for kayak lessons. After lunch proceeds to Rudraprayag, on the way stop at Devprayag to see the confluence of the Alaknanda and the Bhagirathi which meet to form the River Ganga. Overnight stay at the camp.
After breakfast, gets ready to begin the expedition. A detailed safety briefing follows with instructions on paddling commands, rapids to be encountered etc. Expedition begins with a big Grade IV rapid, "The Holy Hole", at the confluence with the Mandakini. Rapids keep coming in quick succession. Soak in the sun, river and scenery, staying alert to help negotiate rapids. Lunch at a waterfall and continue to make camp for the night after Srinagar (Uttarakhand). You will be spending a long day on the river, covering about 36 river km till Maletha beach. Campfire dinner and overnight at Maletha Beach.
After breakfast, get ready to raft down to Devprayag the confluence of the Alaknanda & Bhagirathi rivers. Camp at Beas Ghat, a famous fishing spot for the Mahseer also called the Ganga Gold. Overnight stat at the Beas Ghat.
Start your day with a few rapids. Also enjoy swimming, body surfing, relaxing and spotting wildlife. Make 30 km to reach camp below Kaudiyala, after running a couple of Grade IV rapids, "Daniel's Dip" and "The Wall". Overnight at a camp below Kaudiyala.
Today enjoy some small rapids, followed by "Three Blind Mice", "Crossfire", and the "Body Surfing rapid". Cover 15 kms to reach Shivpuri and drive back to Silver Sands for night stay.
After breakfast drive down to Shivpuri, start your day with big rapids, the "Roller Coaster" and "Golf Course" to make it an exciting end to a grand adventure. The trip ends near Rishikesh, after having your lunch and transfer to Delhi to your home or onward destination.

Client only requires a deposit of 10% of the total amount of the tour to confirm their booking. The remaining balance is then payable 30 days prior to the departure date. For any tour departing within 30 days the full payment of the tour is necessary. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. After receiving the payment, a receipt will be sent directly to client's registered email-id and the final tour documentation will be emailed out approximately 1-2 weeks prior to departure.
No additional cancellation fees! You can cancel the tour up to 30 days prior to the departure date and you will not need to pay the full amount of you tour, but the deposit of 10% is non-refundable. But, the deposit is fully transferable to your future bookings with Alkof Holidays.
