Day-to-Day ITINERARY

On the day of arrival at Mumbai airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Mumbai
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a guided tour of Mumbai ‘The City that Never Sleeps’. The first spot is at Mumbai harbor where you will take a ferry ride to Elephanta Island, explore the heritage site famous for the ancient caves - which were used during 5th century BC. Later in the afternoon, take a ferry back to the land. After lunch at any restaurant, you will be taken to Gateway of India for photo-shoot and sightseeing. Later, you will be taken to Prince of Wales Museum. You can find interesting artifacts of Indus Valley civilization here. Later visit Mani Bhavan, a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi. Evening is free for shopping, you will be taken along busy lanes filled with shops and other attractions. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Pushkar
After breakfast at the hotel, take a flight to Jaipur from Mumbai airport. Upon arrival at Jaipur airport, our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Pushkar. Upon arrival at Pushkar, check-in at your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Pushkar
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the sacred Pushkar lake - surrounded by 52 bathing ghats (a series of steps leading to the lake), where pilgrims throng in large numbers to take a sacred bath. Later visit God Brahma temple - the only temple of Lord Brahma Ji in the world. After that visit cattle fair ground, where every year world Famous Pushkar Cattle fair is held. Rest of the day at leisure, or you can explore local places and markets. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jaipur. On the way visit Ajmer Dargah Shareef “shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti” and Adhai-Din-Ka Jhonpara - a mosque built in two and a half day. After sightseeing at Ajmer, continue your drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival at Jaipur, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Jaipur
After breakfast, get ready for a full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Enjoy an Elephant Safari at the Amber Fort. Thereafter, visit the enchantingly beautiful City Palace, a fine blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, now housing a museum containing rare armories, manuscripts, and paintings. Later, visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), the landmark architecture of Jaipur built of pink sandstone. Also visit the Jantar Mantar, an Astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728. Later taste the Demo of Indian cuisine at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

We provide 3 star deluxe hotels in our standard tour packages. However accommodation can be upgraded to 4 Star/5 Star/Luxury Boutique Hotels on request basis at an additional cost.
At the time of booking, please consult with your tour manager to discuss the best destinations in India to travel solo. As a solo traveler, you have to pay single supplement charges. Please let us know at time of booking and we’ll arrange the rooming configuration accordingly.
The best time to visit India is from October till April because in these months the weather remains cool. But, if you are planning for trekking on the Himalayas region then Summer is considered to be a good time. Summer are also considered to be good to visit regions like Leh-ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim etc.
Although tipping in India is not compulsory, doing so is a nice gesture. In some circumstances, a small tip is expected. The rules of etiquette for gratuity in India are a little muddled as a colonial past, tourism, and cultural influences clash. We do recommend tipping at various instances, but tip higher only when you are very happy with the service. Tip can given after completion of the services from 5$, 10$ or more as per your choice and depending on how much satisfied & happy you are with the service provider.

PAYMENT TERMS
Client only requires a deposit of 10% of the total amount of the tour to confirm their booking. The remaining balance is then payable 30 days prior to the departure date. For any tour departing within 30 days the full payment of the tour is necessary. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. After receiving the payment, a receipt will be sent directly to client's registered email-id and the final tour documentation will be emailed out approximately 1-2 weeks prior to departure.
CANCELLATION
No additional cancellation fees! You can cancel the tour up to 30 days prior to the departure date and you will not need to pay the full amount of you tour, but the deposit of 10% is non-refundable. But, the deposit is fully transferable to your future bookings with Alkof Holidays.
