Day-to-Day ITINERARY
Stay - Delhi
On the day of arrival at New Delhi airport, Alkof Holidays representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer to the Hyatt Regency. Rest and relax at the hotel, later in the afternoon head-out for a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi discovering iconic sites such as the Jama Masjid mosque and Raj Ghat. The famous Red Fort was once the most opulent fort of the Mughal empire. Overnight stay at the Luxury hotel.

Stay - Srinagar
Fly to Srinagar from New Delhi airport. Upon arrival at Srinagar airport, our local representative will recieve you and transfer to a luxurious houseboat on Dal Lake for a 2-night stay. In the evening board a traditional shikara and take a gentle cruise on the Dal Lake. Explore narrow canals and waterways and pass floating gardens and remote villages. Overnight stay at the houseboat.

Stay - Srinagar
After breakfast at the houseboat, visit the exotic Mughal gardens of Srinagar, a complex of gardens designed with Persian influenced architecture. Highlights of the gardens include the 17th century Pari Mahal terrace, originally used to teach astrology and astronomy and Shalimar Bagh, the royal garden of Kashmir. Overnight stay at the houseboat.

Stay - Srinagar
After breakfast at the houseboat, enjoy a shikara cruise across Dal Lake to see the colourful floating markets where local villagers trade freshly-cut flowers and seasonal vegetables. The shikara is still the primary mode of transport for many locals. Later transfer to the Vivanta by Taj - Srinagar for a 3-night stay.

Stay - Srinagar
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to explore the most prominent historical sites and architectural precincts of Srinagar. Highlights include the Hazratbal mosque, the 14th century Jama Masjid and the Pir Gastir Sahib. Also visit the tomb of the mother of Zain-ul-Abidin, hidden away in the bazaar streets. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Accompanied by a naturalist explore the Dachigam National Park. Located among the high mountains of the western Himalaya, the scenic terrain ranges from grasslands to rocky outcrops interspersed with meadows and waterfalls. Note: After the payment is successful, an acknowledgement message is sent to the guest's registered email ID. This message contains the bank details, the amount credited along with the date and place of payment. PAYMENT TERMS
- 30 days or more before the date of departure: 25% of the total cost
- 29 - 20 days before the date of departure: 50% of the total cost
- 19 - 16 days before the date of departure: 100% of the total cost
Important: The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 100% payment is not received 16 days prior to departure date and received amount will be fully forfeited.
CANCELLATION
If you cancel your holiday:
You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges per person applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:
- 30 days or more before the date of departure: 25% of the total cost
- 29 - 20 days before the date of departure: 50% of the total cost
- 19 - 10 days before the date of departure: 100% of the total cost
If we change or cancel your holiday:
We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements.
