Day-to-Day ITINERARY
Stay - Delhi
Arrive in Delhi. Alkof Holidays representative will welcome you at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Delhi
After breakfast, proceed for a full day escorted tour of Delhi. Start your sightseeing from New Delhi, visit Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple (Bahai’s Temple) and Qutub Minar. Later in the afternoon, proceed to Old Delhi sightseeing tour, visit Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid and Red Fort also take a short rickshaw ride at the Chandni Chowk (A huge market of spices and clothes). Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Varanasi
Morning flight to Varanasi. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later in the afternoon, take a rickshaw ride from Sanskriti University, driving to Godowila Chowk (the busiest market in town) and walk to the Ghats to attend the Ganga Aarti. This evening, witness the Aarti ceremony on the Ghats or the River Ganges. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Varanasi
Early in the morning, enjoy a boat ride on the River Ganges, followed by a visit to Akhara and see the traditional form of martial arts practised there. Morning city tour of Varanasi, this includes a walk through the various sacred Ghats, Kashi Viswanath and Bharat Mata Temple, followed by a drive through the Banaras Hindu University campus. Later proceed to Sarnath, an important site for the Buddhists, visit the Dhamekha Stupa, the Archeological museum and the Chaukhandi Stupa. In the evening, attend Ganga Aarti (Prayer to River Ganges) at famous Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Prayagraj
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Prayagraj (Allahabad). Upon arrival, check into the camps. The main highlight of the Kumbh Mela is the observance of a sacred bath at the Triveni Sangam. During the main bathing day, millions of pilgrims and devotees bath on the dates of Shahi Snan. Overnight stay at the camp.

Stay - Prayagraj
Explore the festival with the world's largest religious gathering. Camp activities include walking excursions and a boat ride to the bathing areas. Spend the day exploring the festival with activities such as interactions with spiritual speakers and witnessing the Mela from the viewing point with a telescope. Also attend, morning and evening Aarti at the camp.

Stay - Lucknow
After breakfast at the camps, visit the ancestral home of India's first Prime Minister. Later continue drive to Lucknow, upon arrival check-in to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Dudhwa Tiger Reserve. En-route visit the Frog Temple at Oyal Village. Later continue drive to the Tiger Reserve, upon arrival check-in to the resort. Rest of the day at leisure, overnight stay at the resort.

Morning and afternoon wildlife safari including 4x4 Jeep Safari, Elephant Safari inside the national park and a Boat Safari on River Girva. This wildlife safari includes the visit to the Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary, and the Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary.

Many of our travelers join because they are traveling solo. So yes it is absolutely safe to travel solo on this tour. As a solo traveler, you have to pay single supplement charges. Please let us know at time of booking and we’ll arrange the rooming configuration accordingly.
Our tour cost includes personal assistance during arrival and departure, hotel accommodations with breakfast, all transfers, sightseeing and excursions by private air-conditioned car/van/coach depending on a number of persons with as per itinerary, English speaking local guide, all applicable taxes and dedicated manager with 24x7 support. We can also include lunch and dinner, domestic flights, and other services on request at an additional cost.
The check-in and the check-out timings in a majority of the hotels are 1400 hours and the 1200 hours respectively. Early check-in's and late check-out's are subject to availability of the rooms, thus we suggest you to book your room(s) previous night itself if you arriving early then the normal check-in time or if you have a late check-out. Just let us know your arrival and departure timing at the time of booking your tour with us and we will help you in managing your stay for the extra hours.
We provide 3 star comfort hotels in our standard tour packages. However you can always upgrade your accommodations to 4 star hotels or 5 star luxury hotels or charming boutique hotels/heritage palaces or any special hotel of your choice at an additional cost.

We ask that you carefully consider whether you are physically and mentally able to complete the itinerary. We will make reasonable adjustments to the operation of our trip to facilitate the requirements of disabled travelers – such as booking ground floor accommodation or having your tour manager communicate important directions in writing as well as verbally. One must possess a passport which is valid for minimum 6 months from the date of entry into India. Many countries have been included in the list of countries whose citizens are provided E-Visa facility provided they apply 72 hours in advance. Other nationals need to obtain Indian visa in advance to enter India.

You will be greeted by our representative at the airport on your arrival. He shall be holding a company placard with your name written on it for your identification. We shall also provide you list of emergency 24 hours contact phone numbers for your assistance.

PAYMENT TERMS
If you are interested in booking any of our brochure tours, you may simply send us an email giving us your details. We normally need an advance amount once we confirm the arrangements for the tour. The amount depends on the services you may require for the tour. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. We need balance payment before arrival or as per below schedule.
- 30 days or more before the date of departure: 25% of the total cost
- 29 - 20 days before the date of departure: 50% of the total cost
- 19 - 16 days before the date of departure: 100% of the total cost
Important: The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 100% payment is not received 16 days prior to departure date and received amount will be fully forfeited.
CANCELLATION
If you cancel your holiday:
You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges per person applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:
- Between 30 - 45 days before the date of departure: 25% of the total cost
- Between 17 - 29 days before the date of departure: 50% of the total cost
- Up-to 16 days before the date of departure: 100% of the total cost
If we change or cancel your holiday:
We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements.
