Embark on a full day of sightseeing beginning in Old Delhi with a visit to the stunning Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia, and the Raj Ghat, a moving memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Take a short rickshaw ride at the Chandni Chowk (A huge market of spices and clothes), also visit Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutub Minar. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, catch a flight to Bhopal from New Delhi Airport. Upon arrival, our local representative will meet you at the Bhopal airport and transfer you to the hotel in Pachmarhi. On the way visit Sanchi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sanchi is a small town, which is consists of a number of Buddhist monuments such as Stupas, monasteries, temples and pillars dating from the 3rd century B.C. to the 12th century A.D. The most famous of these monuments is the Sanchi Stupa 1, which was originally built by the Mauryan Emperor Ashoka. Later continue your drive to Pachmarhi for overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a Gypsy safari for sightseeing amidst the natural beauty of Pachmarhi. Start your sightseeing with a visit to the Jata Shankar temple - famous for two different types of little pond, one of cold water and the other one of hot water. Afterwards you visit, Handi Khoh (Deep Valley) - a huge ravine with thick woodland and a cliff of 300 feet which is also associated with Lord Shiva. Later, visit the Bison Lodge Museum, Pandav Caves, five ancient caves carved out of a low hillock, The Bee fall - a 35 m high waterfall, Reechgarh Caves and Eco Point. Last stop of the day is Dhoopgarh where you can enjoy the most beautiful sunset. You may opt to spend rest of the evening strolling through the streets of Pachmarhi and look around the town. After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Pench national park. Covering an area of around 758 sq. km of land, Pench national park is the original setting of the Rudyard Kipling’s ‘Jungle Book’. This national park also finds its mention in Ain-i-Akbari, because of its natural wealth. In 2011, Pench also won the Best Management Award. Upon arrival at the Pench National Park, check-in at the resort. Later in the afternoon, enjoy the wildlife viewing inside the national park. Early morning and afternoon Jeep safari's inside the Kanha National Park. Explore the exotic variety of the park, also enjoy the verdant flora that is spread around. Kanha is known for housing more than 1000 species of flowering plants. During wildlife viewing, you can spot varied animals and birds like, Royal Bengal Tiger, chousingha, nilgai, mouse deer, jackal fox, sambar, gaur, peafowl, mongoose, leopard, python, spurfowl, ring doves, kingfishers, finches, woodpeckers, flycatchers, pintails, pond herons, rock pigeons, papihas, cuckoos, parakeets, green pigeons and so on. Bandhavgarh national park is known for being home to as many as 150 avifauna species. You can spot a number of colourful birds such as Bay Backed Shrike, White Eyed Buzzard, Indian Moorhen, Olive Backed Pipit, Black Headed Oriole, Yellow Crowned Woodpecker, Barred Button Quail, White Browed Fantail Flycatcher, Rose Ringed Parakeet, Alexandrine Parakeet and more. Also visit the Bandhavgarh Fort, located inside the park. Bandhavgarh Fort is placed on a hill, this fort is around 811 meters above the sea level. It is believed that this fort is 2000–years old. The dynamic dry deciduous forest undergoes dramatic change from lush green in monsoon to desolate dry grey in summer. For any tour departing within 30 days the full payment of the tour is necessary. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. After receiving the payment, a receipt will be sent directly to client's registered email-id and the final tour documentation will be emailed out approximately 1-2 weeks prior to departure.
No additional cancellation fees! You can cancel the tour up to 30 days prior to the departure date and you will not need to pay the full amount of you tour, but the deposit of 10% is non-refundable. But, the deposit is fully transferable to your future bookings with Alkof Holidays.
