Stay - Kochi
Early in the morning, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you at your preferred location in Mumbai, and transfer to Mumbai Airport to board the flight for Cochin. Upon arrival at Cochin airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel.
Rest and relax at the hotel and later proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kochi or Cochin, visit Fort Kochi, Marine Drive, Hill Palace, St.Francis Church, Dutch Palace, Pareekshith Thampuran Museum, Pallipuram Fort, Santa Cruz Basilica, Bolgatty Island, Indo Portuguese Museum. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Stay - Munnar
Today morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Munnar “Scenic hills of Kerala”. On the way to Munnar, visit Kodanad Elephant Care Centre, Cheeyappara Waterfalls, Valara Waterfalls, Attukal Waterfalls, Spice plantations etc. Upon arrival at Munnar, check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Stay - Munnar
After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Munnnar, visit Mattupetty Dam, Pothamedu, Devikulam, Pallivasal, Nyayamakad Waterfalls, Chithirapuram, Rajamala Hills and Eravikulam National Park. In the evening, enjoy a walk at the Tea Estates of Munnar. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Stay - Thekkady
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (the location of the Periyar National Park). Upon arrival at Thekkady/Periyar check-in at your hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later proceed for sightseeing of Thekkady. Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. It is one of those wildlife reserves in India that remain open even in monsoon season. Optional activities like Boating at Periyar Lake, Spice Plantation visit and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost. Also visit Kumily - a beautiful town and a popular tourist destination near Thekkady. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Kumarakom
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Kumarakom “Town of Backwaters”. Upon arrival at Kumarakom, check-in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kumarakom. Visit Vembanad Lake, Aruvikkuzhi Waterfalls, Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, Kumarakom Beach & Backwaters, Bay Island Driftwood Museum, Pathiramanal Island, and Ettumanoor Mahadeva Temple. After finishing Kumarakom sightseeing tour, drive back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Alleppey (Houseboat)
After breakfast, drive to the Backwaters of Alleppey. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. Check in time is 01:00 PM and cruise starts with lunch. While cruising in these floating villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Evening is free at leisure, you can explore the local market of Alleppey. Food will be served onboard. Overnight stay at the houseboat.

Many of our travelers join because they are traveling solo. So yes it is absolutely safe to travel solo on this tour. As a solo traveler, you have to pay single supplement charges. Please let us know at time of booking and we’ll arrange the rooming configuration accordingly.
Our tour cost includes personal assistance during arrival and departure, hotel accommodations with breakfast, all transfers, sightseeing and excursions by private air-conditioned car/van/coach depending on a number of persons with as per itinerary, English speaking local guide, all applicable taxes and dedicated manager with 24x7 support. We can also include lunch and dinner, domestic flights, and other services on request at an additional cost.
The normal check-in and check-out timings in a majority of the hotels are 1400 hours and the 1200 hours respectively. Early check-in's and late check-out's are subject to availability of the rooms, thus we suggest you to book your room(s) previous night itself if you arriving early then the normal check-in time or if you have a late check-out. Just let us know your arrival and departure timing at the time of booking your tour with us and we will help you in managing your stay for the extra hours.
We provide 3 star comfort hotels in our standard tour packages. However you can always upgrade your accommodations to 4 star hotels or 5 star luxury hotels or charming boutique hotels/heritage palaces or any special hotel of your choice at an additional cost.

One must possess a passport which is valid for minimum 6 months from the date of entry into India. Many countries have been included in the list of countries whose citizens are provided E-Visa facility provided they apply 72 hours in advance. Other nationals need to obtain Indian visa in advance to enter India.

You will be greeted by our representative at the airport on your arrival. He shall be holding a company placard with your name written on it for your identification. We shall also provide you list of emergency 24 hours contact numbers for any emergency.

If you are interested in booking any of our brochure tours, you may simply send us an email giving us your details. We normally need an advance amount once we confirm the arrangements for the tour. The amount depends on the services you may require for the tour. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. We need balance payment before arrival.
We shall do our best to make changes as per your request and shall not charge you anything unless there is penalty charged by hotels etc, for making any changes.

PAYMENT TERMS
Client only requires a deposit of 10% of the total amount of the tour to confirm their booking. The remaining balance is then payable 30 days prior to the departure date. For any tour departing within 30 days the full payment of the tour is necessary. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. After receiving the payment, a receipt will be sent directly to client's registered email-id and the final tour documentation will be emailed out approximately 1-2 weeks prior to departure.
CANCELLATION
No additional cancellation fees! You can cancel the tour up to 15 days prior to the departure date and you will not need to pay the full amount of you tour, but the deposit of 10% is non-refundable. But, the deposit is fully transferable to your future bookings with Alkof Holidays.
