Day-to-Day ITINERARY
Stay - Srinagar
On the day of arrival at Srinagar Airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the Houseboat. Rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride in the lake, visit 'Char Chinar' i.e. four big chinar trees standing in middle of the whole lake, 'Floating Gardens' & interesting canals. Overnight stay at the houseboat.
Start your enthralling experience of your "Kashmir Tour" from Srinagar. Srinagar is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir and is one of the major tourist destinations in India, also kown as "Heaven on Earth". At Srinagar visit the beautiful Mughal gardens, subtle lakes and the striking boat houses in the backdrop of the scenic view of the hills and the ranges.

Stay - Sonamarg
After breakfast, check-out from the houseboat and drive towards Sonamarg. Sonamarg is a popular tourist attraction in Kashmir. It is located at an altitude of 2,740 m and offers an amazing view of the Mountain ranges and refine sky. On reaching Sonamarg, check-in at the hotel, followed by a delicious lunch. After lunch at the hotel, get ready for a half day guided tour of Sonamarg, enjoy a spectacular view of the valley and the Sindh River. You can spend the evening at leisure, in the comfort of the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Pahalgam
In the morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive towards Pahalgam. Leave Sonamarg early in the morning, so that you can reach Pahalgam by afternoon. On the way, visit the Avantipur Ruins. Upon arrival at Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel and in the evening, enjoy a sightseeing of Pahalgam, visit the local market and nearby beautiful locations. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Pahalgam
In the morning, leave for a full day Pahalgam sightseeing. Visit the Chandanwadi - located at an altitude of 3288 m, and Betaab Valley, which offers a scenic view. Later visit a beautiful valley, which is fully surrounded by the lush green forests and snow clad mountain ranges and it is located in the mouth of the Sheshnad River. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive towards Srinagar. Upon arrival at Srinagar, check into the hotel. Relax at the hotel and later enjoy a sightseeing tour of Srinagar, visit Shankaracharya Hill Temple and the Mughal Gardens. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Stay - Srinagar
After Breakfast, leave for Gulmarg (2440 Meters above Sea level) - also known as the meadows of flower. Gulmarg has the world highest golf course, and is also famous for winter sports, skiing etc. It is around 60 km away from Srinagar, on reaching Gulmarg, the exploration of the place is at your hand. Enjoy the panoramic view of the location, visit the local sites, and later go for the cable car ride, which will take you to the Khilanmarg Snow Point. In the evening, drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Many of our travelers join because they are traveling solo. So yes it is absolutely safe to travel solo on this tour. As a solo traveler, you have to pay single supplement charges. Please let us know at time of booking and we’ll arrange the rooming configuration accordingly.
Our tour cost usually includes hotel accommodations with breakfast, all transfers, sightseeing and excursions by private air-conditioned car/van/coach depending on a number of persons with as per itinerary, local English speaking guide, our assistance on arrival, on departure and during the tour and all applicable taxes including 5% GST. We can also include lunches & dinner, domestic flights, and other services on request at an additional cost.
The check-in and the check-out timings in a majority of the hotels are 1400 hours and the 1200 hours respectively. However, these timings are flexible and thus, can be made early or late as per the convenience of the guests, but the flexibility is highly dependent upon the number of rooms available when you will be arriving at the designated hotel. It is not guaranteed that the rooms for your complimentary late or early check-ins shall be kept on hold for you, thus we suggest that there must be the reservation of your rooms from the previous night itself.
We provide 3 star comfort hotels in our standard tour packages. However you can always upgrade your accommodations to 4 star hotels or 5 star luxury hotels or charming boutique hotels/heritage palaces or any special hotel of your choice at an additional cost.

One must possess a passport which is valid for minimum 6 months from the date of entry into India. Many countries have been included in the list of countries whose citizens are provided E-Visa facility provided they apply 72 hours in advance. Other nationals need to obtain Indian visa in advance to enter India.

If you are interested in booking any of our brochure tours, you may simply send us an email giving us your details. We normally need an advance amount once we confirm the arrangements for the tour. The amount depends on the services you may require for the tour. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. We need balance payment before arrival.
We shall do our best to make changes as per your request and shall not charge you anything unless there is penalty charged by principal suppliers for making these changes.

PAYMENT TERMS
Client only requires a deposit of 10% of the total amount of the tour to confirm their booking. The remaining balance is then payable 30 days prior to the departure date. For any tour departing within 30 days the full payment of the tour is necessary. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. After receiving the payment, a receipt will be sent directly to client's registered email-id and the final tour documentation will be emailed out approximately 1-2 weeks prior to departure.
CANCELLATION
No additional cancellation fees! You can cancel the tour up to 15 days prior to the departure date and you will not need to pay the full amount of you tour, but the deposit of 10% is non-refundable. But, the deposit is fully transferable to your future bookings with Alkof Holidays.
