Day-to-Day ITINERARY
Stay - Bangalore
On the day of arrival at Bengaluru (Bangalore), Alkof Holidays representative will welcome you at Bengaluru Airport and transfer you to the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later proceed for the sightseeing of The Garden city of India - Bangalore, visit Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, a 240 acre garden with largest collection of tropical plants, aquarium, Glass House and a lake, later visit Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha (outside view), and Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace. In the evening, visit ISKCON temple at Hare Krishna Hill. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Mysore
After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Mysore. Mysore is the cultural city of Karnataka and known for beautiful palaces and charming gardens. On arrival at Mysore, check-in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later visit Mysore Zoo, and in the evening visit Brindavan Gardens, one of the major attractions near the city of Mysore. The main attraction of the Brindvan Gardens is the musical fountain in which bursts of water are synchronized to the music of songs. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Mysore
After breakfast, visit Srirangapatna and the Kesava temple at Somnathpur, later visit the Golden Throne at the Durbar hall (During Dussehra Festival), the Mysore Palace, and Chamundi Hills (Chamundeshwari Temple). Also visit the St. Philomena's Church, built in the Gothic style - it is one of the largest churches in the country. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and leave for Chikmagalur. Early in the morning, take a leisurely walk at Chikmagalur to explore the beautiful location. Visit the Coffee estates, where coffee was first cultivated in India. Enjoy the breathtaking views and unpolluted ambiance and the lush green coffee plantation hills of Chikmagalur, which makes it heaven for the travelers. Stay - Badami
After breakfast, leave for Badami. Badami was the royal capital of Chalukyas. The city, houses a large number of cave temples, entryways, fortresses and carvings. On arrival at Badami, check-in at your hotel. Relax at the hotel and later visit Badami Fort, Open Air Museum and the Cave temples. The Badami cave temples are a complex of temples, considered the finest example of Indian rock-cut architecture, especially Badami Chalukya Architecture. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast,visit Aihole and Pattadakal. Aihole is considered to be the birthplace of Hindu stone architecture. The distinctive characteristics to watch for in Aihole are the Western Chalukyan architecture including mortar less fabrication with stress on length and not on width or height. After breakfast, transfer to the Hubli airport to board your flight to Goa. On arrival at Goa airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel and later in the afternoon headout to explore Goa.
Visit the old Goa, housing large number of Churches built by the Portuguese. Some of the major churches to visit include the Chapel of St Francis Xavier, the Church of St Francis of Assissi and the Basilica of Bom Jesus. In the evening enjoy a boat cruise on Mandovi River. Stay - Goa
Today morning after breakfast, embark on a visit to Dona Paula beach. Enjoy stunning water views from all the sides. You may also enjoy para-sailing, toboggan ski biscuit, yachting, sport fishing, swimming, snorkeling and harpoon fishing at this beach. Later visit the three most beautiful and most visited beaches of Goa, i.e the Anjuna beach, the Calangute beach - often called the "Queen of Beaches" as it is the most beautiful beach of Goa, and the Baga beach - famous for fishing.
Evening is reserved for a leisurely walk into the traditional markets of Goa to get a glimpse of Goa's lifestyle and culture at close and for shopping. Enjoy shopping souvenirs at the Mapusa and Anjuna market. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Many of our travelers join because they are traveling solo. So yes it is absolutely safe to travel solo on this tour. As a solo traveler, you have to pay single supplement charges. Please let us know at time of booking and we’ll arrange the rooming configuration accordingly.
Our tour cost includes personal assistance during arrival and departure, hotel accommodations with breakfast, all transfers, sightseeing and excursions by private air-conditioned car/van/coach depending on a number of persons with as per itinerary, English speaking local guide, all applicable taxes and dedicated manager with 24x7 support. We can also include lunch and dinner, domestic flights, and other services on request at an additional cost.
The check-in and the check-out timings in a majority of the hotels are 1400 hours and the 1200 hours respectively. Early check-in's and late check-out's are subject to availability of the rooms, thus we suggest you to book your room(s) previous night itself if you arriving early then the normal check-in time or if you have a late check-out. Just let us know your arrival and departure timing at the time of booking your tour with us and we will help you in managing your stay for the extra hours.
We provide 3 star comfort hotels in our standard tour packages. However you can always upgrade your accommodations to 4 star hotels or 5 star luxury hotels or charming boutique hotels/heritage palaces or any special hotel of your choice at an additional cost.
Alkof Holidays is committed to making travel widely accessible, regardless of ability or disability. We ask that you carefully consider whether you are physically and mentally able to complete the itinerary. We will make reasonable adjustments to the operation of our trip to facilitate the requirements of disabled travelers – such as booking ground floor accommodation or having your tour manager communicate important directions in writing as well as verbally. Further please let us know at the time of booking and we’ll arrange your tour accordingly.
One must possess a passport which is valid for minimum 6 months from the date of entry into India. Many countries have been included in the list of countries whose citizens are provided E-Visa facility provided they apply 72 hours in advance. Other nationals need to obtain Indian visa in advance to enter India.
Yes. It is advisable that you buy a comprehensive medical/travel insurance in advance from your country before traveling to India.
You will be greeted by our representative at the airport on your arrival. He shall be holding a company placard with your name written on it for your identification. We shall also provide you list of emergency 24 hours contact phone numbers for your assistance.

PAYMENT TERMS
If you are interested in booking any of our brochure tours, you may simply send us an email giving us your details. We normally need an advance amount once we confirm the arrangements for the tour. The amount depends on the services you may require for the tour. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. We need balance payment before arrival or as per below schedule.
- 30 days or more before the date of departure: 25% of the total cost
- 29 - 20 days before the date of departure: 50% of the total cost
- 19 - 16 days before the date of departure: 100% of the total cost
Important: The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 100% payment is not received 16 days prior to departure date and received amount will be fully forfeited.
CANCELLATION
If you cancel your holiday:
You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges per person applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:
- Between 30 - 45 days before the date of departure: 25% of the total cost
- Between 17 - 29 days before the date of departure: 50% of the total cost
- Up-to 16 days before the date of departure: 100% of the total cost
If we change or cancel your holiday:
We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements.
