Day-to-Day ITINERARY
Stay - Mumbai
On the day of arrival at Mumbai Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Mumbai: It is a city formed by a conglomeration of seven islands and is located along the Arabian Sea. Mumbai is India's largest city, as well as the financial capital of India. On the Mumbai Harbour waterfront stands the iconic Gateway of India stone arch, built by the British Raj in 1924. Offshore, nearby Elephanta Island holds ancient cave temples dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. The city is also famous as the heart of the Bollywood film industry.

Stay - Mumbai
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a guided tour of Mumbai ‘The City that Never Sleeps’. The first spot is at Mumbai harbor where you will take a ferry ride to Elephanta Island, explore the heritage site famous for the ancient caves - which were used during 5th century BC. Later in the afternoon, take a ferry back to the land. After lunch at any restaurant, you will be taken to Gateway of India for photo-shoot and sightseeing. Later, you will be taken to Prince of Wales Museum. You can find interesting artifacts of Indus Valley civilization here. Later visit Mani Bhavan, a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi. Evening is free for shopping, you will be taken along busy lanes filled with shops and other attractions. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Delhi
After breakfast at the hotel, take a flight to New Delhi from Mumbai Airport. Upon arrival at New Delhi airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city's bustling streets or wander its wide tree-lined boulevards to get your first taste of India. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Delhi
Embark on a full day of sightseeing beginning in Old Delhi with a visit to the stunning Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia, and the Raj Ghat, a moving memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Take a short rickshaw ride at the Chandni Chowk (A huge market of spices and clothes), also visit Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutub Minar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Agra
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and leave for Agra “The City Of The Taj Mahal”. Upon arrival at Agra, check-in at your hotel. Take some rest at the hotel, later visit Itmad-ud-Daulah, and Agra Fort. Rest of the day at leisure, overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Ranthambore National Park
Early morning before sunrise our tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and take you for a guided sightseeing tour of the Taj Mahal and Mehtab Bagh. Later return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Ranthambore. On the way visit Akhbar Tomb at Sikandra, and later visit Fatehpur Sikri - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Akbar in the late 16th century. It was abandoned after only 14 years, and the elegant buildings of this superb walled city remain intact to this day. After sightseeing at Fatehpur Sikri, proceed to Ranthambore for overnight stay.

Stay - Ranthambore National Park
Enjoy 2 jeep safari's today inside the Ranthambore National Park, one early in the morning and 2nd later in the afternoon. Watch the elusive Bengal tigers in there natural habitat, also watch spotted deer, colorful birds, leopards, monkeys, crocodiles, sloth bears and other animals in the lust forest. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the resort.

Stay - Jaipur
After breakfast at the resort, drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival at Jaipur, check-in at your hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later visit visit to the iconic attraction of Rajasthan “Amber Fort and Palace”, This heritage site is one of the most famous forts in Rajasthan and among the most visited Jaipur tourist places. It is also one of the best preserved historical places to visit in Rajasthan and among the prime place to visit on a Jaipur tour. After that visit Srijagat Siromani Temple, one of the oldest temple of Amber town. This temple is dedicated to Meera Bai and Lord Krishna. Later visit Jaigarh Fort, situated on a cliff called Cheel ka Teela (Hill of Eagles) of the Aravali range. Also visit Nahargarh Fort, stands on the edge of the Aravalli Hills, overlooking the city of Jaipur. Along with Amer Fort and Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh once formed a strong defense ring for the city. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Jaipur
After breakfast at the hotel, visit to the “City Palace” and witness amazing Diwan-e- Khas, Diwan-e- Aam, Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal. Also visit “City Palace Museum” which houses an exquisite collection of textiles, costumes, carpets, the finest porcelain and a rare collection of arms, paintings and world’s largest silver objects - a pair of giant urns. After that explore the beautiful jharokhas of the famous “Hawa Mahal”, one of the most unusual structures built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh for the royal women to view the busy streets of Johari Bazaar, while staying hidden behind the jharokhas. Later visit Jal Mahal or the Water Palace, a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur. This is one of the biggest artificial lakes in Jaipur. Also visit Monkey Temple (Galta Ji), and Surya Temple. Evening is free for shopping of handicrafts, Rajasthani dresses, jewellery, and so more. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Varanasi
After breakfast, take a flight to Varanasi from Jaipur airport. Upon arrival at Varanasi airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel in Varanasi. Rest and relax at the hotel, later explore the city of Varanasi, visit various ghats, sacred temples and the local market of Varanasi. Later in the evening attend Aarti on the bank of River Ganges. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Varanasi
Early in the morning, enjoy a boat ride on the River Ganges, followed by a visit to Akhara and see the traditional form of martial arts practiced there. Morning city tour of Varanasi, this includes a walk through the various sacred Ghats. Visit the sacred shrine of Kashi- Vishwanath (also known as the Golden Temple), and Bharat Mata Mandir, a simple temple dedicated to 'Mother India'. Later proceed to Sarnath, an important site for the Buddhists, visit the Dhamekha Stupa, the Archeological museum and the Chaukhandi Stupa. In the evening attend aarti on the bank of River Ganges in Varanasi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

We provide 3 star comfort hotels in our standard tour packages. However, we can upgrade all your accommodations to 4 star hotels, 5 star luxury hotels, heritage properties, or any special hotel of your choice at an additional cost.
At the time of booking, please consult with your tour manager to discuss the best destinations in India to travel solo. As a solo traveler, you have to pay single supplement charges. Please let us know at time of booking and we’ll arrange the rooming configuration accordingly.
The best time to visit India is from October till April because in these months the weather remains cool. But, if you are planning for trekking on the Himalayas region then Summer is considered to be a good time. Summer are also considered to be good to visit regions like Leh-ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim etc.
Although tipping in India is not compulsory, doing so is a nice gesture. In some circumstances, a small tip is expected. The rules of etiquette for gratuity in India are a little muddled as a colonial past, tourism, and cultural influences clash. We do recommend tipping at various instances, but tip higher only when you are very happy with the service. Tip can given after completion of the services from 5$, 10$ or more as per your choice and depending on how much satisfied & happy you are with the service provider.

PAYMENT TERMS
Client only requires a deposit of 10% of the total amount of the tour to confirm their booking. The remaining balance is then payable 30 days prior to the departure date. For any tour departing within 30 days the full payment of the tour is necessary. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. After receiving the payment, a receipt will be sent directly to client's registered email-id and the final tour documentation will be emailed out approximately 1-2 weeks prior to departure.
CANCELLATION
No additional cancellation fees! You can cancel the tour up to 30 days prior to the departure date and you will not need to pay the full amount of you tour, but the deposit of 10% is non-refundable. But, the deposit is fully transferable to your future bookings with Alkof Holidays.
