Fly to Bhuj via Mumbai. On arrival, Alkof Holidays representative will welcome you at the Bhuj Airport and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Bhuj
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the walled city of Bhuj where highlights include a visit to the Aina Mahal Palace (the Palace of Mirrors). The tower, which featured in the Bollywood film 'Lagaan' can be seen from the outside but cannot be climbed as the building was damaged in a 2001 earthquake. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Bhuj
Take a full day excursion of the Banni villages and the salt flats to gain an insight into the daily life of the artisans whose work is integral to the culture of the region. Take a full-day excursion trip of the magnificent Junagadh fort which lies at the foot of the Girnar Hill. Drive to Sasan Gir National Park, upon arrival at Gir National Park, check-in at the Lion Safari Camp. The Park is made up of mostly forest area with rocky hills and deep valleys with numerous rivers and streams. It is also Asia's last natural home of the Asiatic lion (Panthera Leo Lersica). Overnight stay at the resort.

Stay - Sasan Gir National Park
Today enjoy a jeep safari inside the National Park, one early in the morning, and second safari in the afternoon. The wildlife safaris are organized in the sanctuary thrice in a day, two scheduled rides in the morning season while the last one will be organized late in the afternoon. Overnight stay at the resort.
Gir National Park: One of the highly popular protected areas and the only home to regal Asiatic Lions, Gir National Park is known for boasting an impressive range of exotic flora and fauna. The flora of Gir national park majorly encompasses dry and deciduous forests. Apart from the mammals, the park has a large population of marsh crocodile or mugger that is among the 40 species of reptiles and amphibians recorded in the sanctuary. Gir National Park is also a paradise for bird watchers with a check-list of more than 250 birds. For this reason, the park remains filled with wildlife lovers all the year round.

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Jain temple complex of Palitana, set among the Shatrunjaya hills, which consists of 863 intricately carved marble shrines. After breakfast at the hotel, visit the sun temple at Modhera where the exterior is intricately carved and the building designed so that the sun's rays illuminate the sanctum at dawn during the time of the equinoxes. In front of the temple is a colossal tank, which was once known as Surya Kund or Rama Kund. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Many of our travelers join because they are traveling solo. So yes it is absolutely safe to travel solo on this tour. As a solo traveler, you have to pay single supplement charges. Please let us know at time of booking and we’ll arrange the rooming configuration accordingly.
Our tour cost includes personal assistance during arrival and departure, hotel accommodations with breakfast, all transfers, sightseeing and excursions by private air-conditioned car/van/coach depending on a number of persons with as per itinerary, English speaking local guide, all applicable taxes and dedicated manager with 24x7 support. We can also include lunch and dinner, domestic flights, and other services on request at an additional cost.
The check-in and the check-out timings in a majority of the hotels are 1400 hours and the 1200 hours respectively. Early check-in's and late check-out's are subject to availability of the rooms, thus we suggest you to book your room(s) previous night itself if you arriving early then the normal check-in time or if you have a late check-out. Just let us know your arrival and departure timing at the time of booking your tour with us and we will help you in managing your stay for the extra hours.
We provide 3 star comfort hotels in our standard tour packages. However you can always upgrade your accommodations to 4 star hotels or 5 star luxury hotels or charming boutique hotels/heritage palaces or any special hotel of your choice at an additional cost.

PAYMENT TERMS
If you are interested in booking any of our brochure tours, you may simply send us an email giving us your details. We normally need an advance amount once we confirm the arrangements for the tour. The amount depends on the services you may require for the tour. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. We need balance payment before arrival or as per below schedule.
- 30 days or more before the date of departure: 25% of the total cost
- 29 - 20 days before the date of departure: 50% of the total cost
- 19 - 16 days before the date of departure: 100% of the total cost
Important: The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 100% payment is not received 16 days prior to departure date and received amount will be fully forfeited.
CANCELLATION
If you cancel your holiday:
You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges per person applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:
- Between 30 - 45 days before the date of departure: 25% of the total cost
- Between 17 - 29 days before the date of departure: 50% of the total cost
- Up-to 16 days before the date of departure: 100% of the total cost
If we change or cancel your holiday:
We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements.
