Stay - Delhi
On the day of arrival at the New Delhi airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city's bustling streets or wander its wide tree-lined boulevards to get your first taste of India. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Delhi
Embark on a full day of sightseeing beginning in Old Delhi with a visit to the stunning Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia, and the Raj Ghat, a moving memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Take a short rickshaw ride at the Chandni Chowk (A huge market of spices and clothes), also visit Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutub Minar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Agra
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and leave for Agra “The City Of The Taj Mahal”. Upon arrival at Agra, check-in at your hotel. Take some rest at the hotel, later visit Itmad-ud-Daulah, and Agra Fort. Rest of the day at leisure, overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Jaipur
Early morning before sunrise our tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and take you for a guided sightseeing tour of the Taj Mahal and Mehtab Bagh. Later return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Jaipur. On the way visit Akhbar Tomb at Sikandra, and later visit Fatehpur Sikri - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Akbar in the late 16th century. It was abandoned after only 14 years, and the elegant buildings of this superb walled city remain intact to this day. After sightseeing at Fatehpur Sikri, proceed to Jaipur for overnight stay.

Stay - Jaipur
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day guided tour of Jaipur. Start you sightseeing with the iconic attraction of Rajasthan “Amber Fort and Palace”, A UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Raja Man Singh in 1592 in red sandstone and marble. The magnificent fort comprises an extensive palace complex, divided into several sections. It stands on top of an easily scalable mountain, which is situated right next to the beautiful Maota Lake. The fort’s majestic appearance and its geographical advantages make it a special place to visit. After Amber Fort, visit City Palace, The Hawa Mahal (palace of winds), Jantar Mantar, Jal Mahal (Water Palace) and enjoy evening sunset at Surya Mandir, if time permits you can visit some other interesting places as well. Stay - Samode
After breakfast, drive to Samode. On arrival, check-in at Samode Palace. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Pushkar. On the way visit Ajmer Dargah Shareef “shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti” and Adhai-Din-Ka Jhonpara - a mosque built in two and a half day. Later upon arrival at Pushkar, check-in at your hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later visit famous Pushkar lake - which is supposed to be the only worship place of Lord Brahma ji in the world. Also visit Lord Brahma temple and cattle fair ground, where every year world Famous Pushkar Cattle fair is held. Rest of the day at leisure, or you can explore local places and markets. Stay - Udaipur
Early in the morning leave for Chittorgarh. The hilltop fortress of Chittorgarh epitomizes the whole romantic ideal of Rajput chivalry. The fort was sacked 3 times from 1303 to 1568 by a stronger enemy and on each occasion, the end was "Jauhar". The men donned the saffron robes of martyrdom and rode out from the fort to certain death and the women and children immolated themselves on a huge funeral pyre. Later drive back to Udaipur. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Udaipur.

Stay - Udaipur
After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour with a visit to Sahelion-Ki-Bari. Then proceed to visit the Museum of folk art, which has a rich collection of folk dresses, puppets, dolls, masks, ornaments, folk musical instruments and paintings on display. Afterwards visit the City Palace, the biggest palace complex in India, where four generations of Maharajas added mansions and palaces. You also visit the museum of the palace, which includes the beautiful peacock mosaic and miniature wall paintings of Indian mythology. In the evening take a boat ride on the lake Pichola. Overnight stay at the hotel.

We provide 3 star comfort hotels in our standard tour packages. However, we can upgrade all your accommodations to 4 star hotels, 5 star luxury hotels, heritage properties, or any special hotel of your choice at an additional cost.
At the time of booking, please consult with your tour manager to discuss the best destinations in India to travel solo. As a solo traveler, you have to pay single supplement charges. Please let us know at time of booking and we’ll arrange the rooming configuration accordingly.
The best time to visit India is from October till April because in these months the weather remains cool. But, if you are planning for trekking on the Himalayas region then Summer is considered to be a good time. Summer are also considered to be good to visit regions like Leh-ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim etc.
Although tipping in India is not compulsory, doing so is a nice gesture. In some circumstances, a small tip is expected. The rules of etiquette for gratuity in India are a little muddled as a colonial past, tourism, and cultural influences clash. We do recommend tipping at various instances, but tip higher only when you are very happy with the service. Tip can given after completion of the services from 5$, 10$ or more as per your choice and depending on how much satisfied & happy you are with the service provider.

PAYMENT TERMS
Client only requires a deposit of 10% of the total amount of the tour to confirm their booking. The remaining balance is then payable 30 days prior to the departure date. For any tour departing within 30 days the full payment of the tour is necessary. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. After receiving the payment, a receipt will be sent directly to client's registered email-id and the final tour documentation will be emailed out approximately 1-2 weeks prior to departure.
CANCELLATION
No additional cancellation fees! You can cancel the tour up to 30 days prior to the departure date and you will not need to pay the full amount of you tour, but the deposit of 10% is non-refundable. But, the deposit is fully transferable to your future bookings with Alkof Holidays.
